Team sheet lists Josh, not Jordan.

Nah, he pulled out because of his back. He was named, and all good to play. Think injury was work related.
Definitely stretched us a bit yesterday, as I had to play on a bloke 5 inches taller than me as a result :(

Agreed. Nonetheless, it should still be a good battle with the Hawks this week.

What is Rucci talking about here? (http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/afl ... 6625303969)

"ADELAIDE University's unparalleled case for concessions when recruiting players is now before SANFL community football executive Glen Rosser."
Man, we ain't found shit!

Uni want all students current and past as zero pinters is the story I was told
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Isn't this something that was put forward at one Delegates meeting by Uni to the floor and voted upon?
I remember it getting voted down?

No - what we're asking for is that current fulltime under and post graduates at Adelaide University be zero points.

We've got people who have come down from the country or moved interstate to study at the institution and believe that these people should not be worth points. People go to sporting clubs to meet people and feel that this would facilitate new students passage into their academic career. Current undergraduates are issued cards by University administration so it's just a matter of checking the card to see whether people are fulltime or part time students; to nip it in the bud - the University administration has nothing to do with the football club and it's not worth the trouble they'd get into with the Federal Government (budget and legally wise) to try to circumvent the system.

We're not asking for retropsective application - so those players worth points now would continue to be worth points.

Ps - I'm not sure that any players past or present could be called zero pinters there Fourth. :)

If this goes ahead it should cover all university students and not just those that go to Adelaide Uni.

We recruit a lot of kids in the same situation so why should Adelaide Uni be the only club that get to have new uni students as 0 pointers?

And i think moses is correct in that it has been put to the SAAFL before but voted down

I think fair enough. Even better if they get rid of points all together. Has done nothing for the Amateur league.

shrek what system would you put in its place ?????? please dont say a salary cap again considering kilburn was one of the clubs who struggled under the old system if anything the points sytem brought life back to a lot of clubs and kept player payments down across the board div 1-div 7
