There seems to be a shortage of tall players in our area.

It must be all the toxins in the air down there, they stunt growth

Is a likeness to sideshow bob a pre-requisite to be your new ruckman? ;)

Don't say that, it might bring Andre out of retirement!

officially retired the great man?

For the fourth time!! but never say never. :)

Heard Ross Brokensha made a not so good first impression at his first training session at Rosewater the other night as B Grade/Fitness Coach. Quickly laying down the law in his very old school style of his way or the highway and making the boys train right in the middle of the oval in the heart of the 37 degress with no shade & with very minimal drinks breaks. Quite a few of the boys not happy, is this true?

It's a pre season I thought they were supposed to be tough. I did the training with the lads and was tough but I'm older than the other young lads. I didn't think anything was that bad about it maybe the boys your referring to need to toughen up.

Not sure on C grade numbers have been alright getting mid 30s every night and there is a lot that haven't come out yet but you wanna get everyone out to have an indication if your gonna have enough for 3 sides.

Fantastic contrast over the bridge.... Haven working flat out. 15 sessions into it since November. Never a night under 35. Agree it's preseason, but it's player motivation that dictates numbers and interest in training.

Might have something to do with a quote I have started to here in a few watering hole on the peninsula.

North Haven... at least we're not Rosewater!

Not to mention his outstanding record of 1 win (by default) in Div 7 at Flinders Uni over the last 2 years. :axe: Nice guy but, wish him well.

What you see with Ross is what you get. Would not be too worried about him being tough............remember it is pre-season training and not a kindergarten romp. It is supposed to be tough. Maybe the guys who whinged were the ones found wanting in previous years when not making the finals. Good on him and he will be good for Rosewater.
