Not sure on the final score as I don't think anyone took it but I think Trinity won by a kick or so. B grade was also a good hit out with TOSSERS getting up by a couple goals. Cheers to Hope Valley for the contest and good luck for the season. Hopefully we get the chance to play them for premiership points next year.

our box kept score just out of curiosity along with some of our kpi and we had it at hv 8-11 tos 8-2 but irrelevant as we got out of it what we were looking for, as i'm sure you guys did.
all the best for 2011 and i think you will be right in it at the pointy end of the season

Thought it was close but wasn't really sure. We were happy with what we got out of it. A good chance to look at our new players and expose some younger guys to some more competitive footy.

Think you will find the combined IF side, made up predominately of B graders, a few C graders and a handfull of A graders played both games, where as CU fielded their B grade for the 1st two quarters then their A grade side for the next 3.

Having said that, CU looked fit, ran well and with support and really made light work of the understrength IF outfit, as you would expect them to.

12 stitches I believe. A decent gash. Just the wrong place at the wrong time. He will be a handy pick up for us this season. Doesn't know any other way except straight lines.

Don't worry, he wasn't the first Lee Duggan stepladder and he certainly won't be the last.

There were actually 2 gashes on his chin and a smaller one on his lip.

Very unlucky.

PS: The bill for my services is in the mail ;)

Do you guys not have a trainer at all this year, or just not today?
Don't play games with a girl who can play 'em better...

I now it's only a trial but Ingle Farm could be in for another long year, not sure why they didn't have enough players for 6 periods of 20 mins.

Still hunting for a regular trainer. Have only got a few volunteers at the moment who can help if desperate but they all have other roles at our club and are quite inexperienced when it comes to being a footy trainer. The guy we had today was helping out during the b grade but had to leave just into the A grade game. We have been advertising since January but no takers still.

Cheers for helping out FC.

not too bad Q, the probables for a grade played the last three periods and on occaisions looked sharp. still a long way to go though with a lot of new faces in the midfield from last year. not sure of the score but would have been pretty close over the 6 periods.

interesting to see a few of the kenilworth lads came out to have a squiz. would like to hear what they thought of the game?

From memory, we host Ingle Farm in Round 1 and travel to Henley in Round 2. Have to wait until Round 9 to catch the zedman again.
