Funnily enough we voted on it and there was a bit of confusion, several people thought we were changing our proper strip and nearly had an anuerism.
mate,its a great jumper
would make a great home jumper but i dont think or would want the great jumper you have to ever change
be great for away games tho
Current jumper would stay as a clash strip Deeman with white shorts. Just tryin' to get a professional image at the den. New home strip with red shorts. It's all about attracting juniors for the future. It has been tough going to get juniors to the club because we have this so called cultural problem of SAHT or commonly known know as Housing SA. Let's not kid ourselves most of our so called SAHT kids go to Sacred Heart. The times they are a changing. Mitchelll Pk is now becoming an affluent area and we need to capitalise on it before other clubs do.
the fact the club has been changing for a number of years and the hard work people have been putting in will reap benfits
the clubs culture and actions has been slowly changing over a number of years now and even tho outsiders rember the reputations and history the club has made great strides in changing peoples perceptions of the club
it has been interesting that in talking to a vast group of people from ranging suburbs connected to the saafl and the majority have nothing but praise and good words to say about the club and many of the players.
clubs that have had bad reps take along time to get rid of them but they can and do change
central united are going through that same process and through the hard work of the coaches and committee down their they are making the same impressions slowly like the lions have.
the little battling club at the den is one of the best family clubs i have ever been involved with and i personally have nothing but pride and proud memories of my time their and will always hold it in the highest regard.
their are a number of actions the club made to me when i went their that most people would not know or ever be privy to including people at the club butif outside people knew they would understand my love for the club and people and think of them totally differently
