Funnily enough we voted on it and there was a bit of confusion, several people thought we were changing our proper strip and nearly had an anuerism.

mate,its a great jumper
would make a great home jumper but i dont think or would want the great jumper you have to ever change
be great for away games tho

Current jumper would stay as a clash strip Deeman with white shorts. Just tryin' to get a professional image at the den. New home strip with red shorts. It's all about attracting juniors for the future. It has been tough going to get juniors to the club because we have this so called cultural problem of SAHT or commonly known know as Housing SA. Let's not kid ourselves most of our so called SAHT kids go to Sacred Heart. The times they are a changing. Mitchelll Pk is now becoming an affluent area and we need to capitalise on it before other clubs do.

the fact the club has been changing for a number of years and the hard work people have been putting in will reap benfits
the clubs culture and actions has been slowly changing over a number of years now and even tho outsiders rember the reputations and history the club has made great strides in changing peoples perceptions of the club
it has been interesting that in talking to a vast group of people from ranging suburbs connected to the saafl and the majority have nothing but praise and good words to say about the club and many of the players.
clubs that have had bad reps take along time to get rid of them but they can and do change
central united are going through that same process and through the hard work of the coaches and committee down their they are making the same impressions slowly like the lions have.
the little battling club at the den is one of the best family clubs i have ever been involved with and i personally have nothing but pride and proud memories of my time their and will always hold it in the highest regard.
their are a number of actions the club made to me when i went their that most people would not know or ever be privy to including people at the club butif outside people knew they would understand my love for the club and people and think of them totally differently

we fight as one
we win and lose as one
we are one

Can someone from mitchell park please make a forum topic based specifically on 'Mitchell Park 2012'

this way the boys can play blah blah as much as they like and everyone else in div 7 wont have to read 1 kilometer essays about the pride and the passion of the den

give the lions the credit they deserve and put them on the ultimate stage with their very own forum topic! Mmm yeah

They speak highly of you too Deeman. It's only when you get "inside" that you realise the quality of the people. Still a long way to go but it's all positive. Saturday night presos with wives, girlfriends, family members and 20 odd kids sitting on a mat at the front is something we all cherish.

Are you in a concentration camp whereby they force you to read peoples posts?

Is this you:

Image

Honestly marbles, this thread turn into a morgue and nothing happens, then there is what, 5 posts about Mitchell Park and you have a little whinge. Did one of our players shag your missus or something?

Here is a hint - maybe people want to post and read about Mitchell Park? Perhaps it interests them?

If you don't like it either post something people want to discuss (which you attempted and no-one was interested) or, preferably, quit your sooking.

They are in D7 and it's fine for them to discuss important things about MP in the D7 topic. Feel free to discuss things about your club (???) at any time.

Ovingham get their own thread, why cant the lions?

It'd be awesome to see and read and would be just like an online magazine acting as a journal for the club and readers could instantly comment and show their support or non-support

certainly a further expansion for the club (i believe)

Last time I looked this was a Div 7 forum. If that doesn't appeal to you "marbles" then you could focus your attention elsewhere, like maybe AFL.

My point is being made as a representative of everyone in the division 7

so far in this debate we hav only heard opinions from those from mitchell park and funny enough im being told to go far away

my point simply is that u lions use this thread to over announce inhouse boring literature that is no use but to yourselves and consequently force us to be saturated in unnecessary jargon

please refer back to mp posts and note the 10 paragraph essays we all hav to encounter

i like the club and hope they do well but on here we should have a choice to read these extended publications from the den as their very own thread would solve the bombarbment

if a petition on here from other posters could be made on here we would certainly find out if im right or wrong. Obviously or bias will say wrong. So goble goble to you

so whats stopping other clubs talking bout themselves???? no one else seems to be saying anything on here, so who cares what the MP talks bout... instead of bitching maybe think of something worth while to add to the forum....

Excatly, would have been smashed in div 6. If u are an A grade side then the criticism is fair. SHOC will struggle to make finals in div 7 this year

Heart warming....

What makes MP a 'little battling club'??

They have off field facilities and an oval most SAAFL clubs would kill for.

If they are little or battling, wouldn't that be a negative, especially seeing they so much in their favour??

marbles is right. Time to move on with MP for now. Personally I would be more interested to know what is happening at Flinders Pk, TTG, Angle Vale and Henley. The real pacesetters of Div 7. Any of you guys out there?
