How you blokes travelling scootroo? Haven't heard too much from you guys. It's been the Hope Valley, Houghton, Hectorville and Hawkseye show on here of late (WC just didn't fit my theme hawk  )

Who you blokes playing in your trials?

Thats alright mate im happy to be in the "H" club. Not sure if you ment me or scottroo so i will tell you anyway. We are playing Brahma Lodge and Morphetville Pk in trials.

Is it unusual for a club to play someone from their own division in a trial game? I can't recall ever doing it in the past. Oh well, I guess you'll get a good look at Brahma Lodge before you play them for points...

(He was actually supposed to be the captain of the B grade and played 3 B grade games) One of the most nuggety players I've ever seen. He did play for Norwood u17's but as far as he's told me, never took it any further.

He's 40 now, not getting any younger and has had back problems since round 1 2005 when the usual suspects put him in hospital with a fracture in his back, so there is a bit of a history between them pre 05 GF.

If he has been training at Heccies or is playing there this year, i would say it's only cos he's just built a mansion  near the oval and has 6 kids to take care of, including a 6 month old.

Zanks is a top bloke and I love him to death, even though we have had the odd blue or two over the years. But good luck to him where ever he plays this year. He promised me he was going to retire when he turned 40 but then he had another kid last year and now reckons he's going to play until his youngest can watch him play (and remember it). Perhaps he thinks he'll last longer if he plays at a lower level!

heard today that zanker isnt playing for heccies anymore. apparently not as many of his mates are playing as he thought there was or something along those lines. he just moved across the road to heccies as well.

It's probably a good thing anyway, surely a younger player is better than some old dude

He came to one of our trainings, but he said he was playing for broadies. Maybe he's not playing at all? I'm not too sure...
