Also I don't want to sound like a sook or what ever, but i must say I really felt for the young fella who Mitchell Park supplied as an umpire. How old was he about 12?

Thats bullshit and not fair on him and the blokes playing putting him in that situation. I'm not going to bag the kid because I have no doubt he did the best job he could, but he was just a kid at the end of the day, and it does get frustrating when your blokes are working so hard all day while being belted and get no reward for effort.

Also pretty filthy with your supporters on the hill FFS show some decorum! Carrying on like you've just won the flag while blokes playing lower than they should beat up on a C4 side of mostly kids! And to get to the point of laughing as a bloke like McDonnell makes a mockery of our backline is pathetic, wasn't that long ago it was your A & B grade on the receiving end of big beltings by sides!

Rant over lol.. cheers for the beer morell, next rounds on me ;)

I'm just so thankful MP showed some credibility as a club by playing their true C grade side. I don't give a rats about their B grade not getting a game and being so resolute about picking a side to be viewed by their A grade coach, or whatever. Fact is, it's a C Grade game and ANY club with true values for the game would have played their genuine C Grade side today.

Any club would pick their c-grade side based on the best interests of their club, not the integrity of the c-grade competition
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

I actually agree.. doesn't make it any easier to deal with haha! But agreed, especially rd 1 you dont want your key B grade/A grade blokes sitting out.

if the B's don;t have a game, you pick the best side available... and if that involves mostly b graders, well bad luck to the side they play....

Sounds like their A's could have played C's and their C's could have played A's. Results would have been the same...

Hahahah.

This. This right here is getting printed out and handed around the club. Patto will never hear the end of it.

Patto is a fully grown man of age 20. He actually won our B Grade Best and Fairest last year!

He did struggle though. It was his first game he ever umpired I think.

They can get a bit unwieldy up there, it was a warm day I suspect the beers were flowing pretty quickly.

Anything specific you can tell me?

But yeah, every club has them ;)

Settle down turbo! The credibility of the club? Really? This happens all the time in footy, we've been on the wrong end of it and agree that it sucks, sometime soon perhaps Ingle Farm will be on the right side of it. Think it's a bit of an overreaction to pot an entire club after a game played in good spirits because of a selection of a few non C Graders. Far out of all the "football crimes" Mitchell Park have been accused of this would be on the lower end of the scale.

Anyway, the vast majority of the side was our intended C Grade. We played 6 guys out of 25 who probably won't play there again, but outside of that it was a team of either fringe B's/mostly C's or 100% C Grade players.

We could have fielded a much, much, much, stronger side than that one but out of respect for our C Graders, Ingle Farm and footy in general we decided to select a mostly C Grade side but with a few ring ins who we wanted to get some fitness into.

Heck, I cant sleep and am bored, so I will categorise each and every player for ya

Tom Jewson - C
Joseph Leck - C/B
Christopher Shilling - C
Tony Chahoud - C
Joe Bonfiglio - C
David Maylin - C
Steven Brown - C
Marten Pine - C/B
Mark Golding - C
Craig Rayson - B/A
Shaun Hollis - C
Matthew Curyer - C
Dylan Angeletti - C
Matthew Weekley - C
Brett Parker - B/A
Tom Breynard - B/A
Morgan Ellingham - B/A
Steven White - C
Bradley Steele - B/A
Luke Mcdonnell - C/B
Matthew Williams - B/A
Bryan Littlely - C/B
Shane Kulmer - B/C
Charlie Georges - B/C

That is the thing, we didn't even really do what X Runna was saying we did. The vast majority of the side was our intended C Grade.

FFS we had 4 guys over 40 playing! 2 guys that hadn't played in 10 years. About another 10 that haven't been to a single training.

If we fielded a full strength B Grade side we would have won by 40 goals I suspect.

How come Luke Mcdonnell isn't playing in the A's this year? Surely he is still capable of kicking bags and would fit right in your best 21 at the club?

He is enjoying semi-retirement. Really struggled with injuries last year and decided to hang up his A Grade boots after we won the flag. Even yesterday he was on one leg for most of the second half (had 8 at half time).

He only played C's because I think a couple of plans didnt come to fruition and he wanted to be around some friends and family due the passing of his father last week.

FFS pull your head in, I haven't complained and I'm sure I've agreed every club would'be done the same if in the same position, so don't go pigeon holing the club as a wholr because one bloke from the B grade expressed his frustration. If anyone should be complaining it should be me.. and I'm not.. so STFU

Hahaha oh dear! I though guessing 12 was being generous! When the boys got a little frustrated I told them not to argue/abuse etc the umpire because he's just a kid and is doing the best he can, and its C grade you get what you get LOL! 20 that's hilarious!

You got a tissue? Don't go offering one if you haven't got one!
I realise who you what your comment was in relation to, but why not just direct your post to him instead of blanketing the club?

And yes sook is prob fair, little emotional after a 25 goal hiding lol

Ramming, how was your hit out against Kilburn yesterday? I see they won, but don't usually read too much into scores. Compared to last year where do you think you boys are at?
