agreed, C4 seems to be the worst comp to play in for this reason. To be honest who cares if you play one side 4 times and another only twice? I think a couple of years back our D grade played in an 8 team comp and they were unlucky to have to play the better sides more often but still only missed out on the GF by one game so if you are a decent enough side you will actually benefit from playing the better sides. It just works out to be the luck of the draw really.
Try telling that to the knuckleheads in at Thebarton. They think it's "unfair" on the side who has to play a good side 3 or 4 times and it doesn't fit the magical template.

Why then dont they ask the teams that are playing there? I would have thought that guys just want to play, considering how much it costs to actually get out there! Would the SAAFL give you guys a discount on your registration fees for the season, considering you can play a maximum of 14 out of 18 games a 23% discount seems fair to me?? ;)

IF wingfield are gone and they dont change program Salisbury play first 3 weeks then miss 3 in a row because of easter, surely they cant do what happened last year. just bring in paralowie and smithfield if they are only having one team.

paralowie aren't having a team after all the kerfuffle and smithfield are in the 9 team c1 competition.
may be time to revisit the whole c division thing again.

what's the latest with wingfield?

Still no official word on Wingfield?
You would hope with all the rumours that the league is being proactive and finding out what the hell is going on!
If they pull out from now, its a joke.
C4 could quickly become a farce!

Maybe we should see who definitely WILL get a team on the park.

1. Jets have numbers to field a side against Pulteney this week.
How r they looking?

Anyone else?

Salisbury def have enough, never seen so many on the track last night even with D grade having a bye.

Should have dispanded c4 and moved the 7 clubs into the other c1.c2/c3/c5/c6 and made them all 9 or 10 team comps.

Ok, seems the B grade at Lizbef is pretty strong, so I'm gonna have to play Cs if I want to get my 50 for the Eags.

Soooooo....which three games should I play this season? Where are the triple headers, I wanna see the other games and which games should I avoid because the clubs have left the comp????

Much planning must go into this, it's a big trip with two young kids.

I know, seems like a silly question.
But at the moment, I'm picking weekends from the program that suits us for travelling.
I don't want to pick a weekend and tell Mrs DW, only to find there's not actually a game ;)

SAAFL only gave us a 0-0 draw for the forfeit?

Shouldnt we get the 2 points and a 60 point win??

was just thinking same thing Duncs.. you guys have enough numbers to last the year right?

Yeah Unley has a good side, brilliantly coached by Ben Newbold - he's like the James Hird of C4. Former great player now coaching in style.
Wouldn't expect pulteney to be much of a yard stick however.
