thank you ... thank you ... THANK YOU :d

Thanks heaps to everyone out in club land who has supported Women's Footy over the past few weeks by buying a footy budget at the games.

Update from Divvy 1 GF... You are all AMAZING! despite the fact you had to pay a little extra to get in, we still managed to sell all 100 copies before half time of the reserves. I rocked up at 12pm ready to sell around the ground, and found that the girls on the gate only had about 10 left. It was sooooooooo good to see. Even when we had sold all of the budgets we still had people donating money into the tins!!!

I was so impressed by the efforts of the spectators that i spent my time sitting and watching in the grand stand instead of pestering people for donations  ... and even then the generosity kept on giving with a man tapping me on the shoulder and giving me money for the tin.

A huge thank you is in order for Luke and the team at the Footy Budget for their amazing work. Without their help, the U18 Youth Girls State Team would’ve struggled to attend the Championships in Melbourne, and we would’ve never witnessed the outstanding achievements by our local girls.

To Luke and the footy budget team, on behalf of the SAWFL I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. We owe a lot to you guys, and look forward to working you with in the future to ensure Female Football continues to grow and remains successful.

So thanks for having us out and about at your finals… We hope you enjoyed reading the budgets as much as we enjoyed selling them :-bd

:-o WOAH!!!... yep that was me being a loner in the stands, haha. You so should've said something :d

I tried to sit up there for as long as possible, but it got way too cold. I was sitting with the guy who runs fotoball for a while, but the cold got him long before me

For the next week or so I was telling everyone about the 'amazing man in the grandstand'. We need more people like you out in the world :-)

kicks.like.a.girl wrote:hahaha, yes she feels terrible about having to leave. It was thought well in advance that she may possibly come home early for her yr11 presentation ball (yr11 ball at trinity is more important that yr12 formal... so i've heard 8) )

Her mum and i actually made the decision for her as she didnt want to have to miss out on either. Please nobody tell her this, but if she had have stayed the final score may have been very different and we may have finished 3rd. She makes such an impact on the field, and the girls really missed her out there on the day. She feels guilty enough already, so be nice to her please if she is out there selling budgets with us on Saturday...

...if you do want to say anything to her, ask her how she feels about making me get up at 5am to take her to the airport Saturday morning :-P haha

I know all about the year 11 presentation ball at Trinity ;)
A great night.

Nobody tell her.....ha!
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

No Footy Budget online, is that due to sales this weekend. Will it get online at some stage?

Will be on line Saturday Night otherwise will be on sale at all matches this weekend
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.
