seems like people haven't been doing their job and vetting the applications properly. There couldn't possibly be 11 applicants worthy of being interviewed."

A pretty popular place the old Fitzroy, a lot of clubs don't get that many people turn up for their AGM!

heard that ex north haven coach shane O'dea is the front runner for smosh A grade job, i find this really hard to believe after his lack of success and what hapened to north haven when he came to there club, eg 34 clearances.

Hey paggy how come its offical now seeing as he signed 2 weeks ago???
He hadn't been made official mate, the sub-committee had decided he was the guy, but the recommendation had to be taken to the Executive Committee (Tuesday night) and approved before he was officially given the job.

Was a great 'keeper that just couldn't break through at the top. Was a bit too tough on himself also and expected a bit much rather quickly.

Is there a fear that this could happen again as a coach ??
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Heard from a mate the Jets have announced their new coach - Troy Hall.
He made the Div 4 team of the year this year, so possibly playing coach. From what I've heard may have some handy recruits too. Jets may rise from 8th!
