Probably won't be on top then.

and the chorus goes 'boo hoo hoo, boo hoo hoo....
Mate, you're asking to be rewarded by the league for having only one side, when other clubs can get four or five? How is that logical?

UP YOU CATS!!!!!!!!!

'Self destruction' starts out with exactly what is currently happening at Ovingham with infighting, backstabbing and bitchiness, but don't be afraid, you have a man at the helm that can turn back the tide with the wave of a hand.

How many of the "original" Ovingham players are still at the club? Not too many I'll bet!

Yeh, the players that left couldnt have been to loyal to 'there' club!! Couldnt get a game so they left.. What an attitude to have.. There is not one player from last year GF team that left, that we miss on the field.

The club championship could be decided on Wednesday night as clubs can lose 3 points for a player suspension.

and how would you know if they are legitimate concerns? that statement is wrong and obviously this person is not a real 'team player'. and the people who have left the club have executed themselves.

And in a small club why cant the Coach be the President i must ask.. He was voted in after all.. Im sure if someone seen something amiss with his nomination they would have spoken out.

They may have been "blinded with science". Chris can get people spellbound at times.

Another question, how many of the original committee are left (those elected at the AGM)?

The President and executive committee are there to appoint coaching staff etc. It is a conflict of interest for the same person to do both, he would never get the sack because he wouldn't sack himself. There is no disputing how hard it is to find good people to fill these thankless roles, but it is a dangerous situation to be placed in, who sets the coaches wages?

All the bitchiness, the infihgting and the backstabbing came from bokes who are no longer at the club and it must just be coincidence that we won the next 2 games hmmmmm i wonder what was the right decision?

Well, nobody else was willing to put there hand up. Chris really had no choice and is doing a great job. The club is running alot smoother with Chris at the helm and everybody is happy with what his doing as president.
