Regardless of that tho, these 2 sides hav'nt got the rivalry that both Seaton & Pt Dist have.

What are the Amateur league think'n of ??

I believe that Seaton and Districts were not programmed for ANZAC Day because they SAAFL have got them playing on the 10th of May, the AFL Rivalry Round

Thats AFL rivalry round, not Amateur night raver, if your from seaton & you agree to this, you obviously don't see the real benifits this game Seaton v Dist holds & the importance to the club financially.

Your comment about "writing you off as 2 years ago" refers to what? Did you win the premiership that year or did something happen we all missed?
If I were a Gepps Cross supporter, why would I be embarrassed? At least they are open and have the lights on when you walk in the place. They may not have been in the Footy big time for long but I bet the people who call Broadview oval home, would love those facilities. How do Broadies survive on about 4 hours per week? Have they paid the money back to their Juniors yet.
One little piece of info I can give you is this, be wary of making stupid statements about employees of an establishment, that can become nasty, especially given Broadies track record of "bar flies" getting their instruments caught in the honey pot.
Another thing I do know is that your source of information is very poor, but then again, when you are laughed at by people within your own club, that probably is par for the course!

Fair go guys, maybe you can't remember the 'writing us off comment', that might have been cos you were in Div 2 then. All a bit too much if you ask me. Can't wait to let the footy do the talking.

You are going that well that Dad (Butch) almost pleaded with Mark Jones to come back and play this year!
Tell us that's not true!!

You should get a job at the Advertiser, they dabble in your sort of hipocracy.

I guess you'll have to wait until Round 2 to find out who/what Gepps have lost/gained, and at least their current coach is known in footy circles, not like the new Broadies coach, Mark Sealink!?!?!? :? :?
He must commute from KI each week
Incidentally, tell the coach that it's not only the job of the FD to contact the playing list about preseason, its part of his responsibility to do that as well. Maybe because he is an 'unknown' he wasn't too comfortable in doing that!

Might have happened in past years with burgess, but the new coach has already ruled out those kind of actions, the same reason that a little blonde so and so was told in no certain terms he was no longer wanted, he was like a cancer of undiscipline. Apparently heading Gepps way though, enjoy.

Shirtfront you are absolutely correct. We are more than happy to see the back of that little blonde bloke and he should fit back in nicely with Rupert ( if he is a Gepps cross supporter? ) and Aceman back at Northgate community gepps cross sports football club or whatever they are called. Rupert I cant beleive you would question our facilities when it is widely acknowledged we have one of the best playing facilities around not like that parkland set up with a pokie set up that you masquerade as a football club. Good football clubs are about the people and the history and in that respect we have you covered very easily, that is in fact if you are a supporter of that club.

I doubt that!. I seem to recollect he was at Gepps before he transfered to Tigerland. I do know he's shopped himself around with an asking price of $300 a game, TTG, Athelstone, Keith, Lofty. No takers as yet so you might get him back for free!

Footy Nut, you are correct again, don't you get sick of being right all of the time. Your oval is perfect, it's just a pity the footy club is only a part time tenant.
Do something constructive for your club, get rid of the archery people and let your juniors use the oval every Sunday from 9.00am, now there's a challenge.
You should be able to handle that, get shirtfront help you and it will be a breeze!

He won't go back to Broadies, Gepps i thought were a chance cos he knows roey personally but roey would be wise to not grab him if he is serious about getting the best out of the playing group. But it looks like its a common theme, can't surely ask that kind of price for the player that he is.

Ease up, don't put me up with FN, granted passionate but a little aggressive. As for the archery its a no win situation, Government Grant for the archery, which inturn goes straight to the council who have 2 archery members on the bench. Try and fight that. Have pleaded to get them moved for years, like beating your head against a brick wall. As for 'your club' no problems with the way your place is set up, do have a problem with the oval in the wet and the supporter last year who threatened the umpire during the game, thats gotta stop.

Shirtfront, love your work!

Ground is exceptional now with new drainage put in before last season, and looking a picture too. Oh to get enough rain to test it out again. :D

Agree 100% on that comment about the guy last season, I believe he's on notice, any more and "see you later"

Oh Please Aceman give it a rest. Who from your club has put this bloke on notice. The same people I suppose who but your barmanager on notice and that has had a great effect. The bloke is well known around the traps and has not even been spoken to. With regard to a lack of affection towards me I suggest you should look in your own backyard. It is well known that you outstayed your welcome and are now trying to get back in. The lure of free drinks to much to resist?

Enjoy your tenure while it lasts, they will eventually see the real you too!

FOOTYNUT, BIENG ASSOCIATED WITH NORTHGATE S&S CLUB AND THE GEPPS CROSS FOOTBALL CLUB,I FIND MOST OF YOUR POSTS EXTREMLY DISTASTEFUL. IF AS I SUSPECT, YOU HAVE A 'CAPACITY' AT BROADVIEW, YOU SHOULD PERHAPS STOP LOOKING DOWN YOUR NOSE, LIFT YOUR EYES,AND HAVE AN EDUCATED LOOK AT THE STUCTURE OF GEPPS. YOU MAY LEARN SOME THINGS THAT COULD BE OF BENEFIT TO YOUR CLUB
BROADVIEW F C IS BOTH ADMIRED AND RESPECTED BY THE VAST MAJORITY OF GEPPS CROSS PEOPLE, AND WE ENJOY THE OPPORTUNITY TO COMPETE AGAINST YOU.

BY THE WAY, I SPOKE TO THE PERSON MENTIONED IN PREVIOUS POSTS!!

Been hearing a fair bit of media publicity about Anzac Day, Gaza v/s Gepps Cross. Sounds like it might be a big day with a couple of added attractions. Cornsey's 5aa Big band, \:D/ past player & mini league games makes it sound great.
I hope they get a big crowd with all that entertainment. :ANAL:

If Seaton play like they did against Gaza, it should be.
