I saw TTG advertised in the Sunday Mail, interesting to see that outcome following a couple of successful years.

He is mate, communicates really well with players and has a solid game-plan that he doesn't move away from from. Very professional wth recovery and hydration and stuff and he has the players playing for him.

Has spent time at Westies under the Weed as they're good mates, and will probably read this soon enough.

I cant believe this what does Mark Weaver have to do to keep the job. Very succesful year for the gullies im sure the club would of took a finals finish this year. I always look to see how the other side who went up the grade with you and compare to see how they went, no comparison. VERY STIFF WEAVS only hope now gullies go backwards.

You would think so. Looks to have done a very goo job, especially (as mentioned) comparing to similar Gepps Cross.

Would think that he would be in the box seat, but a young list like that could be attractive to some coaches.

Could be a similar scenario at Willunga, surely after 4 flags in a row out of 5 years being at the club Bazza Pilmore would be as safe as a house...

Broadview are holding off their appointment until after this weeks finals, as their preferred option as committments to fulfill this weekend. I tell you he is a big smokey for the position, but a very, very good coach.

weav's coaching in the past few years has been average as results on the ladder but shit he knows his footy and with the right guys and committe, he will have an era not just a premiership and with his easy going nature he has endeared himself to many a talented footballer, at the end of the day he had a great year GO THE CATS!(mark thompson was a bomber!) hey weav's grab sob sack and drop in for beer at the cricket. only a striaght drive from the bend over bank. B52 bomber over and out

He has done an awesome job, but you're right Pert, the young list, combined with a couple of highly experienced ex-SANFL players tipped to come on board next year, could be highly appealing for coaches out there.

Here's hoping Weav's can stay on board and see all his hard work come to fruition.
