Has an umpire ever led the I50 count for a side?

Cant say much for the boundary ump in the Agrade though, boy does he love his "authority".

Eastern Park heading up to their ground which would've copped all the rain and be in horrible condition.. could be the ingredients for an upset.
i reckon 1mm of rain on that heap and it's a mud pie... worst ground in SA.
Let’s throw 2 inches of rain on it this week just to make sure [emoji38]

Is that Dave Aylward?
Our C grade umpires Saturday I don't think paid a single free kick for the day, but it was an enjoyable day and I think the consistency of no calls was good.
A grade umpires - well I thought they were the best I've seen all season - hot on HTB and consistent... although the Units cohort would disagree.

No idea what his name is, but needs to just concentrate on just throwing the ball in instead of making rubbish up and crying to the central umps at qtr time.

Yes, thats his name, he is normally good for a couple of dodgy centre square infringements per game but dont recall any on Sat. One of the umps in the A grade was a bit trigger happy with the yellows. You've got issues if you are concerned about boundary umpires

What did you say to upset Dave? He's usually a pretty timid guy from my experiences.
Takes two to tango, sounds like you're not as innocent as you'd have everyone believe..

Roger wrote:What started out as a promising division has clearly become a 2-horse race between Salisbury and Eastern Park. The demons have more top-end talent after splashing some cash and going on a strong recruiting drive this year and all the talk early days was they were extremely confident in taking it out in 2024. However I think the magpies are better balanced and far better coached. Availability and venue will be big factors in who takes it out this year.
The Farmers and the Roys are really good D6 sides who in any other year would probably be the teams to beat, but just lack the depth of the top 2. Neither side can afford to lose their best players and the Farmers have been without Payne for more than a month which is a big concern for them. The Roys on the other hand have had their best players play most weeks (Rosenthall, Richardson, Russell, Ellis), but it's their bottom 3-5 which hurt them.
