And should be playing higher. Unfortunately doesn't want to do the hard yards by the looks of him.

Saw him play a couple of reserves games at south and went away thinking he could be a good AFL player, but unfortunately that hasn't happened.

He done his knee pretty badly and at the time and was never going to play again but decided to have another crack at playing but as most injured players do stack on weight and drop fitness after 4-5 years not playing and as for AFL there are lot that COULD make it but never do

He was at Souths around 2004-2005 from memory

all i can say is we are very happy to have him. :D
He is consistantly getting back in to shape and by the end of the year he could be very dangerous.
if you seen him when he first came out to pre season when he could only manage a half a lap jogging, its amazing to think he has kicked a couple of bags of 5 in D2 A grade.
Very funny man after a couple of froths

That would be no exaggeration. I'd guess it has a lot to do with his mind set, but I've seen him fall 200m behind a group which has very slowly jogged only 400m themselves if that haha. Good to see him playing good footy, has a great set of hands when playing well.

Has been a year since I've played against them/him, among the worst I've seen. There's a few shockers floating around.

Could not have been any worse than the umpires between Portland and Pt Districts on the weekend there was one old umpire and 1 young umpire who both umpired the game completly differently meaning the players couldnt gain any consistency, older umpire (wearing the hat) was very argressive in his tone of voice and it was like he wanted to be feared and was far to over powering, almost Ruined a great game of footy that was played in the right spirit, been some cracking contests between these 2 sides in the last 2 years

Has been around for years, and has always been the same!!! Pays a free kick for anything against the opposition. The worst thing is that the Modbury players now know this and they take dives and make noises when contacted near the footy. I had a guy take a mark in front of me and I put my hands out to stop him from running into me and he flopped to the ground resulting in a 25m penalty that there umpire paid from about 50m away. He is right up there with the TTG and Eastern Park b grade umpires. The thing is the league never do anything about it! I know the whole... without umpires we would not be able to play, but these types of blokes are dead set cheats that ruin the game. The Amatuer league should come and watch a few games with these blokes umpiring, and against a stronger opposition too as the closer the game the worse they get!!!

maybe the league need to grow a pair and ask that the B grade umpires actually turn up to a few trainning sessions and learn how to umpire and the rules the B grade and the C grade is where a lot of cheap stuff goes on and often the umpires lose control of the game because of poor knowledge of the rules and lack of trainning or straight up cheats who know nothing will happen to them

You guys were far too good. Just would've been nice to receive a free kick from him when they were definitely there. Didn't seem to miss any when they were the other way around though.

Anyway........ Play on!!!!!!!!
