Bandar - Floyd Fulwoods gettin better and better every-time i see him play - Could be a key player for you guys this year!

Turbo, he might even run in the middle a bit rather than the wing and yes he could be handy.

Kilburn definitely fielding 2 sides, picked up some players in the recent weeks and a couple of very handy ones i hear.

Any word on Kilburn still having a C grade in C3?

much to his disgust, he did leave the goal square he played on the ball for a while :D

How did the thunder go in the trial?

i think roughly went down by about 4 or 5 goals, was a good game for most of it, thebarton obviously suits the way walkies play but definatly lots of positives to take out of the game.

Was talking to one of your players todyay piccachu and he said you beat Walkerville and looked great on the big ground. Someone is telling us some crap. Are you flying under the radar as well as Para Hills, PAOC and Seaton are trying to do. I watched the PHOS game v Smosh and the Lakers boys are looking fantastic. I did not see our Senior Coaches though and had to fly after the game so did not know where they are. Someone said Minners and Micky Tomeo were away, but dont know for sure. They really looked awesome though and to beat PHOS was amazing. Para Hills, you guys at the Thunder dome, The Lakers boys, PAOC and maybe Seaton are the go

Not boxing the field, just my top 5 yeh I know its early but thats kinda it. Thats my top 5 in order. Maybe CBCOC to take the place of you guys at PAOC or Seaton, would be only change to my top 5. You gotta have a crack at picking it and reckon thats bout it

It is way too early to predict anything until you see who takes the field,
But I'll have a stab in the dark (minus us of course) and say Smosh, Seaton, Portland, Old Iggies and PAOC to battle for the top 5

Obviously just down playing Para Hills. We arnt all silly u know, you blokes will be in the top 2. Ive put my side in the 5 cause they will make it but stop the smoke screen. G8 effort though Big Red. U did remind me of Iggies tho as they will be around the mark and forgotten about.

Think I will take a box 7 in the trifecta as forgotten about Mitcham as well. Oh well thats what March is for. Only the Whisky boys at Scotch and Kilburn wont make it it reckon

Don't think it's worth trying to predict a favorite out of the pack but just going to say I reckon it'll be a cracker of a season. An even comp is an enjoyable comp, nothing like rocking up knowing it's going to be a hard fight and anything can happen.

24 days to go! :D

i can safely say we went down, only by 4 or 5 goals but we definatly didnt win and with some pretty important players unable to play i thought we competed well against a now div 2 side, we have phos this saturday so interesting to see how we go there.

From the sideline looked like we went down by more then 4 or 5 goals. I thought more like 7 or 8 goals.
We were down by 2 or 3 at quarter time!
Was still a great oppurtunity for the guys to have a run and get the feel of some hits before the season starts.
Walkerville would go so much better in any comp if they had an oval like Thebbie as there home ground, suits there style of game to a tee.

I hear the great piccachu may be out for a few weeks???

it only looked that way to you fisty becasue i heard not only the players were having a trial run before round 1 but also the lads from the hiil took it upon themselves to have a prctice and drain a couple of 30 can blokes hence why you had no idea about the score. not sure whats going on with piccachu dont right him off just yet ;)

Couldn't agree more Fisty, we beat them at their ground last year only to be trounced at the much larger SMOSH ground!

Hope the recovery is going well mate!

Phew - hot out there today :( Talking to the 'Weed' today on a building site. He was doing a quote on a Roof. He rreckons that the Lakers were a good side but not as fantastic as I thought we would be. Turned me around in my thinking. Maybe only 3rd or 4th now. Changed to Para Hills, Portland, PAOC, Lakers, with Seaton, Iggies and Mitcham to battle it out with the Lakers in elim final

We've had a hefty turnover of players from the team that played in the Elimination Final compared to what we will put out on the park for round 1. So while outsiders are predicting top 2, we will be content to make the top 5 at this stage of the season!!
