Is it ok to swing and elbow and make head high contact with an opponent. This verdict may set off a chain reaction where other clubs may refer back to this very decision. Any way decision is done lets move on. Who is going to tip the winners for this week.

I dont think the victim should have any say in it.
If its outside the rules of the game its just that - outside the rules of the game and therefore it should be penalised.
$15000 should do it. Like Brown from Hawthorn
Im sure PNU have got enough cash to back it up

I remember watching a Districts game towards the end of last year when Alf Steed got absolutely cleaned up very late within the first few minutes into the game, right in front of the umpire as well. No report, but think Steed had a pretty badly broken jaw. I reckon it was in the game against Edwardstown that decided who would get relegated, Districts lost the game and their best player. Seasons end got relegated to Div 2 on %. I suppose what goes around comes around.

The outcome stinks hope ramblers cleans house in the finals and sticks it right up all of you!!!

Pretty strange call Newman, I know if I had blood intentionally flicked on me I'd be "whinging and moaning" all I could to try and get the guy rubbed out for as long as possible! Clearly that incident has absolutely no relevance to this one!

just a couple of things about that last post: firstly i never knew that hawks had an e in it. And secondly salisbury north aren't in the div 2 finals

Shaz- I don't care about the tribunal result- even though I believe the system in SAAFL is a joke! but don't use Steed's broken jaw as an example or excuse! That incident was a collision of players both going for the ball- in fact if you do remember the guy who made the contact actually came out with the ball- don't exxagerate and insinuate things that didn't happen!!
