Hopefully (On our clubs behalf) even if you do win it still won't be enough.I reckon Plympton will be too good in the magoos though. Not a bad side 2nd time round

so here we go. Finals time. probably fair enough to say 4 sides left who have a chance to play in the GF but that being said, you never know what might happen.

Personally ive waited 12 months for finals after breaking my collarbone after round 17 last year and having to watch elizabeth beat us in the 1st semi. at least this year we have a double chance rather than coming from 5th like we have tried to do the last two years.

should be a cracker against fitzroy this week.

Go the Roys!!! Hopefully there will be a big crowd there this weekend for a home final for us. At least our B grade can't be cheated this week as we have proper umpires umpiring finals

just because they turn up to umpires training and wear an orange uniform doesn't mean that they are any better with some of the clowns that I have seen this season

yeah zedman, alfc would be favourites and they are a very good side. we played them the week before. but they are definately beatable. just need to be at the top of your game for four quarters against them. We were with them up until 15 minutes into the last quarter and then they blew us away with about 4 goals in 6 or 7 minutes to end the contest.

they are a very good tall quick running side and deserve to be favourites and top atm.

bondy they are very very good talls..but..watch hodges the small fwd and r.miegel the tall fwd..the skipper, number 1 plays off hbf and is very good..but..give them something to think about early..go in real hard..get them off their game..anything can happen..you guys can prolly match them for height and just show more grunt around the edges, they love to play straight down the guts..saying that you must get pass ffc first and that will be a good game imo

yes they did hold us scoreless in third. we seem to struggle against fitzroy for some reason but im sure we will rectify it when/if we get to see them again this season.
should be a close finals series,
plympton has beaten adelaide and smithfield and even centrals in recent weeks, smithfield has beaten centrals and fitzroy in recent weeks, adelaide has beaten everyone and fitzroy has won games. all should be exciting to watch.

Adelaide Lutheran 2007 Minor Premiers

Postby Snake_Eyes » Tue Aug 21, 2007 2:38 pm

After smashing a dirty kooka's outfit, the bratwursts have earnt the week off and will have a internal hitout on saturday morning.

Smithfield vs Fitzroy will be a huge game. Amazing to hear the Roy's smash Plympton. even more amazing to hear the dragons making the eagles season even more humiliating. But i hear the Elizabeth b Graders will be a tough outfit this year.

Best thing about finals footy means finals umpires. I know all teams have probably had a gut full of cheating umpires, atleast during the next 4 weeks, the umpire i smore likely to have more control on the game.

Other teams are now starting to work out our game plan, but however, we have a couple of other cards up our sleeves for the next few games. Plus a few key players due back in.

Best of luck this week guys,

Snakey.
