A tough start for my lads playing Angle Vale first up then SHOC in Rd 2.
I think this could be a very even season. I look forward to the season starting.

Yes Bigshow Div 7 will be a cracker with most teams having a chance. We have Smithfield then Angle Vale, Shoc and TTG so we will be under the pump also. Good luck to your lads as well.

Agreed, think it will be a close year. Any one of Angle Vale, Henley, TTG, North Pines and Mitchell Park would have every right to be going into the season very confident of getting promoted

I would have put SHOC in there as well, but, we all know about their thoughts on promotion.

Sorry scottroo you have the wrong club. Only 4 townies at the den and they all played last year. And why would you want to recruit from a club that couldn't make the 8 in SFL? Surely you would target a finals club. We're hoping to be a lot "HAPPIER" than that. Keep researching.

There are a lot of players at Edwardstown that would tear Div7 to pieces.

Nothing but respect for our neighbours in double blue, provided us with many a recruit and have usually played nice about it as well. Good footy club all around.

... and just quietly if anyone has the right to have a subtle crack at Townies and get away with it, it would probably be Yank Man. ;)

Most of them are gone now if you check their clearance list. Some of the "happier" players will tear Div 7 to pieces.   And thanks Morell yes I would know better than most. Sorry EV' but you comment doesn't require follow up. I mean seriousy things have changed a fair bit in the last 12 years. Unless they invented reverse fake id's, At least one, more likely both, were old enough to drink when mitchell park joined saafl.

Seriously, edwardstown play at a much higher standard, your comment was pretty silly, you deserved a little sh*t thrown your way

Div7 is a great breeding ground for juniors and Modbury has lots of them. Noticed they have registered all their Under 18's from last year. Good club and they are obviously looking to the future. Good gig I would have thought if you are patient.

Hey Bigshow what time does your game kick off tomorrow night? Is it true there's another trial involving 2 other clubs after your game?

Our game kicks off at 6:30 tomorrow night. There is no game after ours. Next Friday night 2 other clubs are using our ground for a trial game.
