Agree about the Gepps X jumper. Surely there was nothing wrong with the one with the Ram on the front?

Lot of talk on here about GAZA taking out the flag this season, but have I been told right in that their current coach was nothing more than a Country B grader in his day?

red "away" jumper is a piece of shiet. reasons for the "away" jumper even worse.
if they want to change get back to the 'old black and white'

The red strip, was intended to be a clash jumper used when we play clubs with similar colours ( SHOC,PHOS). However, the red strip was popular with the majority of players and supporters who are at the club, hence it became an away strip. I conclude, that it is mind over matter. We don't mind, and you don't matter!!!

Do we have some precious GAZA posters on here? Was just stating that you obviously don't have to be the world's greatest footballer to be an obviously good coach. If you GAZA posters can't handle that fact, I'll bring some tissues for you all next time I'm at GAZA oval. Then again you guys have been sooks for a long time

Agreed, i think you wanted a reaction from the Gaza lads rather than state your point above....

I think (correct me if im wrong) was at West Adelaide in and assistant role and coached Mt Lofty for a few years. very knowledgeable and disciplined coach from what i have seen

Well as far as I know , I am the only gaza poster on this site. And I haven't said anything on this issue yet. The other posters that have commented on your interesting observation of the playing ability of our coach, I think were quite right to point out that you have made yourself sound like quite a knob posting the way you did (even though that may not have been your intention).
But I would appreciate some tissues anyway as I have had a mild case of the sniffles for the past couple of days.

From what i heard on Saturday Gameday on 100.5 WOWFM when Nathan Grainger was articulately interviewed on Saturday 8) . He played at Sturt, Coached the West Adelaide Reserves, Spent time at SPOC, ROCS, Payneham and Mt Lofty among others and is the current Coach of the Div 1 Premiership Faves Gaza who are struggling along at 12-1 just at the minute...I mean FFS i love banter but at least have some merit to your poor attempt at an insult, belittle or undermine the efforts of a good bloke, doing an excellent job at a great club.

Results today were pretty well spot on, all apart from Broadies knocking off Goodwood Saints. Give it a couple of weeks we will start to get our best 18 on the park, good to see Rian Hornhardt at the game today as well. Big win for the Tigers

Andy & Nick. Great 4qtr effort yesterday. On song from the first bounce Goodwood didn't have the lead once. Sets us up for the run home and a shot at the finals.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

So with our lads knocking off Goodwood on the weekend. Some things to ponder over the bye weekend.

Gaza now are assured of top spot, (prob would have got it anyway, but now certain), will they rest players 'Geelong style' over the next 3 rounds to get cherry ripe for the big dance?

The fight between 5 - 8 is red hot. All teams face atleast 1 team above or equal in the next 3 rounds. Gepps appear to be preparing for a large crack.

Do EP, TTG and possibly SN after next week play more youngsters to encourage next years development, possibly losing games a bit easier?

Can anyone outside the top 3 play in the GF, i think its stll evens bewteen Gaza, Goodwood, SHOC.

Good post S/F, SHOC have been the best Div 1 side i have seen this year by a mile and I think in the open spaces of Thebarton Oval there pace and ball movement will be too much for the other sides, we all know Gaza's final history but I believe they will overcome that to an extent this year and make it to the G/F against SHOC with SHOC to win. We are getting alot of our players back however i think this week off may well hurt us as we need these weeks to run these guys into some sort of match fitness
