I'm just amazed the number of players apparently getting paid at Div 5 level. I come from a club who pays no-one and am hoping we will be able to be competitive this year..
Obviously $$ makes recruiting easier. But like I said, surprised at the numbers thrown around.

Ignore the numbers being thrown around is probably the best bet.....and in each side there wont be anywhere near as many paid players as people would believe.

Like $250 for a ruckman in div 5......you would want him to ruck, rove, kick goals up forward and then run back and play defence for that money....because i sure with $250 to spend you would be able to attract a key position player for each of those positions

Probably best...by the time the season gets here the whole BL A grade, B grade and half the C grade will be getting paid if you believe the rumours.........most of it is simply BS and if you get caught up in believing it all then your going to have a sore head.

At the end of the day if clubs are happy to pay some money out to people they want to represent their club then good on em'.

i reckon abloke playing for the club and for free will put in alot more then a guy who is only playing for coin, cause that guy already is getting what he wants.... unless he's performance base...
but lets be honest if you can afford gun players, goodluck to you....
i always find it funny how other clubs assume what other clubs are donig...
