hey demonseye, well i have been training but no running or with the ball ive been at the gym 4 nights a week trying to get back to being the size of a normal human, about 14kg lighter so far so i have to keep motivated to go, , i just want to confirm the post a few pages ago about me going the thunder, i can say that i will be in the hawks colours for 2009 and just taking it a season at a time from now on. We are traveling pretty well down at the hawks at the moment good numbers everyone is keen to do well and i think we will have a pretty good team in both grades, thats all im saying looking forward to having a good year

Just for you Browny - Hectorville could lose up to 4 players (all 4 in their top 10) from this year's A grade. 3 training elsewhere and one might be leaving to go and do something else, but I can't really reveal what it is at this point in time. It should come out soon enough...

...when it's confirmed, you'll be the first to know! 8)

Is one of them Bentley?

Yes  Has secured employment in Renmark. Big shoes to fill, but i'm confident we will have success even though he won't be there next yr. Was awesome to have in the side and was always up at the club. Good bloke is JB.

You idiot. JB came to finish his footy with his mates at a club he enjoys playing at. He certainly didn't come to Heccies for money. He would have stayed at Bridgy if that was his motivator. I'm sure Parto will fill me in on the Hann wages though, among others...

I can't remember ever saying anything about Parto getting paid, but don't quote me on that.
How would i know him? He did play at Hectorville for a couple of years before going to HV.
And I wouldn't waste my time pissing on you.

The Heccies lads have been pretty quite on the home-front. What's the go lads? Phil to play one more year, Bentley to re-sign, any new recruits (I've heard of a couple that might be headed your way)???

Bentley to play again and i'd say if Phil does play it'll be in the magoos. Not going to mention any recruits on here. Not really too worried about what the other teams are doing either, but it does make for some interesting reading. We know within ourselves we have the cattle to match it with the best and have proved it by beating the previous two premiers comfortably during the minor rounds. We are just focussing on being more consistent. If we get that right, there is no reason for us to be playing in div 6 another year.

I guess everyone else knew except you?
