Chapstick?? That's a new one. Must be a houghton thing...
Sorry mate i was just saying in relation to the game at Hectorville last year when heccies beat you by 20 odd goals and your team resorted to thug like tactics and were handing out cheap shots left right and centre.

how bout the 1st time..in vistor changeroom on white board it had in case of blood rule..., and wen 1 of our players dislocated his knee it fired them up...we do our boxing in the changeroom b4 the match and some do it on the field :P

Show some objectivity when commenting about that game. There were heated exchanges before it was a blowout and players from both sides were the antagonists.

Keep up with the constant hollow jibes as well, it is a great reflection on your self, perhaps a true test of your character will be if you have the viscera to confront our player group and call them 'inbreds' to their faces. I'm pretty sure you'll get more than my tongue-in-cheek retorts.

And chapsticks are generally soft and only good for a crack in the lips.

Mate, you're reading a bit much into those signs, they've been up since the rule was introduced. You made me laugh though, thinking that our decent committee folk put those up for intimidatory purposes Image

And that is sheer bollocks that you think we fired up over one of your blokes dislocating his knee. I don't even remember that happening and I'm pretty sure none of the other players do. We had a good side on the park that day and to the lads' credit they deserved to win, but you fellas obviously had your minds elsewhere. Pre-conceived notions are a bitch.

things seem rosy down at demon land. all looks to be making for a big clash vs heccies round 1- A and B grade!
will be a good test for both sides to see where they are both travelling early in the season. I know both JB and Neagle are really looking forward to the clash!

Things are going well at the moment. We're getting 40-50 blokes each night to training and there's a lot of new faces around. There will be no "feeling your way" around in the first few rounds this year. It's game on from Round 1 which is good for both teams.

I'm glad those two blokes are looking forward to it. Expect to see a slightly different side from the one that played in the first semi last year...

Nope. There were numerous breaches of site rules in that thread, subsequently the moderating team canned it. We do wish the venture the best of luck, but that is the extent of the support being offered by this site.

I suppose thats up to the coaches but in my opinion he will line up in the B grade or C grade. We have more talls pushing for A grade this year which wont help his cause there and i know they are trying to go for youth in the magoos. Saying that, he has a chance, like everyone else, to impress in the trials and put his name up there for selection.

I'd play him in the C grade if I was coach. But i'm not, so he could end up anywhere. I guess it depends on his trial game form. He hasn't missed a training since he joined, so he's done everything right by us so far.
