i play both As and Bs being a small forward often then not you the first player to be benched or dropped to make way for resting midfielders etc and no Pooraka were fine with out me in the As and the Bs probably one of the few times they have not played finals

im 34 years old coming to the end of my playing days rode the high and lows of pooraka in the A grade and B grade now finishing of football at Houghton hopefully i still got a bit in me to cause teams like Ingle farm and the others some headaches up forward if not the Bs it is :)

There's not much I haven't heard. Some good, most terrible. I look forward to hearing some new material!

2010 @ Salisbury North... " You have red hair, why don't you just kill yourself!!!" From some knuckle dragger always amused me.

Haha, almost forgot that! Yeah, that was some extremely insightful stuff!

One of my other favourites after suggesting a player had not quite put his body on the line
Opponent "shut up you tomato sauce head"
Me "Is that really the best you could come up with"
Opponent "whatever, you have tomato sauce for hair"

Was so bad it was good!

To be fair, I was on the verge of having a few of these lads come play last year - but they decided to stick out at least one more year with the coach and see how they went.

If they didn't win the flag and finished 6th would anyone have said anything?

Also think you need to remember that none of these players approached us - we approached them, and any financial incentive they may or may not be getting has not come from what they want or have asked for. We have room in our budget to top up the A grade and fill some missing links, and that's what we have done.

I've known Creedy for a long time, I had no problems approaching him or any of our other recruits and encouraging them to have a chat.

Don't worry - we aren't done with our recruiting yet, you'll hopefully get plenty more to keep your minds occupied and this forum flowing..

RS, is your keyboard missing the full stop and comma buttons? I run out of breath reading your posts mate..

I do look forward to running out a finger bun to OKC when we come across Ingle Farm.. Hopefully Zartan doesn't get to it first and clean the icing off first though

I hope everyone is on $100 a game, especially with the amount of finger buns a game being shouted.

I'm a serious finger bun lover too, any way they come. Just come to the bench and ask for Yank Man, deliver and I promise you a return bout, I'll collect them on the way to town for our game, fresh from Yankalilla bakery, the best bakery in the world, and I've been to France. :D
