are you guys training on harpers? i did a pre season there with norwood and it waqs rock solid. not good for the feet

It's been frustrating for 10 years FS !!! There is alot of piping, construction equipment around so something is happening but I think that is more to do with the new oval rather than the rooms... What did they say the hold up was ?

Yeah we are training on there and its in pretty good nick. Alot softer than it has been in years gone by but I think the leaking pipes under the oval may have something to do with that !!! But it is defintly alot softer and easier on the legs than previously..

Think they said unstable ground and trees in the way that cant be removed cos they are old or something to that effect. The unstable ground could be an issue

That'd be disappointing if that is the case... from what I can see the clubrooms are looking like they are being put in a different place than first thought but I'd welcome anyone to correct me on that...

Jimmy Kuhnt now staying with Kookas. Met with Kilburn on weekend and decided to stay where he is. If they were in a higher grade might have made the move. Divy 4 to Divy 3 was not enough to move him. Coin was good but

Trained with us the week before that decision so I would say he had no intention of going there despite the 'good coin' as you put it... That obviously wasn't good enough nor was the lure of playing at Kilburn.....

I agree there Johno, if no money was mentioned tell what they could use to lure him to the club? Higher level, success??? Money would be what they would try to use! There may not have been a specific number mentioned but would have been told it would be worth his while playing there.

Well perhaps i wasnt at the meeting and you 2 guys were ?????
The only thing said about money was, we do play players and that would be negotiated IF you wanted to take it further
He rang the following Monday as he said he would to say he was staying at GG

Wasnt that what i was saying?? I realise we were not at the meeting, and people who say he was offered "good coin" would be making assumptions because Kilburn over time has paid this for players who they want to come to the club.

Didn't say that at all Tex.... And you're from North Pines anyway... ;) My point was we have gone from Div 6 to Div 4 in 3 years and they have gone the opposite direction so I would think it wise to be with a team on the way up.
