Yes, Hann did give Jiggy a gutsy king hit from behind. Jiggy had a bit of concussion and went to the hospital to get it checked out. Had a seizure or two while he was there and has since been advised not to play.

The rest of the lads haven't forgotten about it either.[/quote]

Mate, just want to clarify events here. Jiggy, great player or not, had a swing at one of Jim's good mates and Jim was just standing up for him! This was not a behind the play deal and far from the king hit from behind that your making it out to be, it was a front on jumper punch. Jimmy isn't that sort of bloke, not his style. It's unfortunate that he was hurt but dont make it out to be a dirty off the ball king hit.

Fair enough. Put me in front of a keyboard and my wordsmithery can get a little colourful. Jimmy has always been a fair bloke to play on.

And looking at my last sentence in the quote, I doesn't mean to read that there will be a targeting of anyone's head, but rather some of us will see it as a little bit extra of an incentive to win.

Considering the local rivalry between our 2 clubs, there's never been any fighting game day between us and it's not something they're renowned for. You must have just caught them on a bad day. Having said that, Cab doesn't tolerate any of that sort of stuff anyway. I'm still pulling the splinters out of my backside!! :D

We've had another few players sign this week. Players seem to be coming out from everywhere. It's quite pleasing to see that a lot of them are coming out off their own back and not through us chasing them...

things seem rosy down at demon land. all looks to be making for a big clash vs heccies round 1- A and B grade!
will be a good test for both sides to see where they are both travelling early in the season. I know both JB and Neagle are really looking forward to the clash!

Chapstick?? That's a new one. Must be a houghton thing...
Sorry mate i was just saying in relation to the game at Hectorville last year when heccies beat you by 20 odd goals and your team resorted to thug like tactics and were handing out cheap shots left right and centre.

Yeah i thought Mitchams A's would win very easily. Mitchams B grade would be a good chance against Houghtons A's

From what im told its Mitcham's A & B grade. Mitcham's B grade would give Houghton A's a touch up - very well-drilled side. They have only lost a handful of games in 3 years. Mitcham have a strong C grade too.

Bradman, i have seen first hand Mitcham's B's - would have given a few of the lower D4 teams a go, trust me.
