What was the result in tonight's trial game froff?

Hawks won easy with a handful of a graders playing 2 quarters.

Nah. About 5-6. Brighton scored 1 goal after half time.

Yes they were. Until 10 "A" graders come on after the young lads had a half as a reward for a long preseason.

Spot on. But if you put a few games into these kids, most will be alright. The young #7 in the A Grade looks like he might be good, if he learns to pay attention to the ball coming his way lol.

We were trying to keep count. We had the score 11 goals to 9 and the half time score at 6 goals to 1. Must've been hard to play in that wind as a first hit out though

Gullies looked solid on Sat night. Interesting player in the B grade the famous M Cox having a kick. A grade looked up and down the spine. And some good small forwards that will cause some headaches for coaches. Game was played in good spirits, was a good contest. Both smosh and TTG would be happy with the run in the legs.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

For those interested, Brighton had only 2 players from their 2012 GF team play in the trial so there was plenty of young lads out there. Good to see them (from both sides) getting a go. Good reward.

That's cause they've left for more money not because they were not available

they were enforcing that rule early in the Salisbury north game until both teams raised the point they hadn't been informed of it so they scrapped it

bigger body ruckmen when they come in that metre to make contact will have an advantage over the smaller rucks or lesser weight and it wouldnt suprise me to see more drama then what the rule is worth

How is it that he is even allowed to play footy anymore ?? Was meant to receive a life ban but from what I believe was never followed up properly by the League ???

Yes the umps we had on Sunday said they were told they had to this year, they are also enforcing the sliding in rule where you can't slide in on the ground to pick up the footy.

If clubs are still willing to sign him good luck to them. But how is it possible that he can still play in the league ?
