First night should be good lads !! I'd love to be there but I've got food to eat and domestic duties to perform !!
But first night of pre-season is always an exciting time as eyes eagerly peer around spying the new talent and seeing who has bulk up (or out in some cases) and see who is genuine in putting in a cracking pre-season and giving themselves a good head start to the year.
So stop ya talking you young bucks and get out there !!!!!!

Whe you say massive wake up call FR, what do you mean by this? Do you feel you have some work to do?

I went out last night and have pulled up surprisingly well for my 30 year old body! I have to admit it was good to be out there!

How was the turnout last night lads !!! Faaaaaaaaaaark !!!!!!!!! Never seen so many people out there for the first night of pre-season training so the enthusiasm is defintly there. Saw plenty of blokes out too who dont often appear this early in pre-season (PB...... )
And also saw a few faces out there who missed selection at certain times last year because of their lack of pre-season so that was good to see... Well done lads !!

Mate I tell ya, there must have been at least 50 or 60 out there at least !! a stack of new faces, some old ones have returned and S.Peterson looking good. Will strip beautifully into a Burra guernesy. I may even head down again tonight and actually partake rather than watch !!

Mitch mentioned 3 triathlons. Starting from the pool at Modbury, obviously swim there, hop onto the deadly treddly for a bit, head back and then pound the pavement. Will be good fun ! Get the bikes ready boys !!
But overall, very promising. Even saw D.Pettman out there believe it or not !!!!!

Word I heard was that he has some strict 'Andrew Symonds' like criteria to adhere to before commencing duties on KFC hill. The main criteria being that he cannot be within 20 metres from the oval due to the size of his cranium blocking the view for hundreds of supporters...
But surely with the way he presented for first pre-season he'd be pushing for A's ??

It's been frustrating for 10 years FS !!! There is alot of piping, construction equipment around so something is happening but I think that is more to do with the new oval rather than the rooms... What did they say the hold up was ?

Yeah we are training on there and its in pretty good nick. Alot softer than it has been in years gone by but I think the leaking pipes under the oval may have something to do with that !!! But it is defintly alot softer and easier on the legs than previously..

Has Johno managed to find the Golden Grove oval?

Saw someone wearing a Kookaburras singlet looking lost in Mapleton Grove last night. Thought it might be him.
