Where has the new saafl publication site gone?
Whats the reason for it being deleted?

at a guess i'd say the saafl thought to them self's hang on this is a great idea and its guna help every club and not make us any money at all so lets can it asap ...........................

Nope. There were numerous breaches of site rules in that thread, subsequently the moderating team canned it. We do wish the venture the best of luck, but that is the extent of the support being offered by this site.

No mate, never heard a peep from them - that would be acting a little fast, we may get a letter from them by seasons end, if they realise something happened.

Most definitely not mumbles. It was discussed for a few days by the mods and then we acted. Not once have we heard from SAAFL regarding this. Even if we did, that is not a cause to remove the thread.

What would you know sharks? Havn't heard BOO out of you for a long time.
I know for a fact their was nothing but positive feedback from alot of members on this forum, 80 plus pm's, no shock to me.
You wouldn't be shocked either sharks, you just have a personal issue with Luke so it comes as no surprise you want him to not succeed with this magnificent publication.
Get your head out your A** sharks & see some day light.
Its all been positive & successful so far, unlike its removal on this site. Its a shame something that will be so beneficial & rewarding to alot of people personnally & to the game we love has been removed from this forum after such great feedback from day one & not ( multiple ) sharks.
If it is something personal with Luke why don't you all get over it!

was reading about that budget before and aint seen it for days

feedback seemed good for a good product mercy

we had budget in hills comp and was great and had budget in barros light
comp in my only year out there. miss reading something on game day before
getting changed. used to read budget before game in hills/barr leagues and good

I didn't read it as Sharks supposed rift with "Luke". I'm sure sharks like I would love to see a publication that enhances our competition regardless of our opinion of "Luke". I for one reckon AF is an undesirable contributor but if he had the gumption to do something different good luck to him, I'm pretty sure he would have f*&%$d it up anyway but so be it. I read it as an observation that those at Tynte st had put pressure on the mods to remove it until they could get a grip on something similar to make some kanga given Shadiac gets a cut of revenue as his contract performance based depending on revenue.

Gentlemen I can assure you the SAAFL had zero influence on the decision to remove either of the publication threads.

Both were removed because posterss broke site rules as identified above by SMAC

We agree on that then. I reckon we should start a post giving examples of rampant revenue raising. The clubs that can ill afford it are copping it in the neck from the very organisation that was set up along time ago to represent us and ensure our survival not take a bite. The Div 1 forum is clearly not the place to do that, it in itself deserves it's own page.

we get stung enuf as is by amateur league. These guys and gals are gunnna
give us a free 40 pager all with amateur guff, teams for every1 and all free
download it free and sell it for 2 bits or 2.50. even us college boys willl by
and sell 80 odd a week and have hell of end of season trip let alone big clubs
