Some may or may not know but it is with great pleasure to finally confirm/announce MLFC have agreed to proceed with a third side in season 2011. With all the happenings in the higher grades we have yet to be notified what C grade comp we will be in as yet. Great step and move by the club.

We're confident of covering all the extra manpower required with another team however many hands make light work so anybody interested in a volunteer or support role at the club please let me know. Oh and more Players are always Welcome! :)

All good mate, I wish your club well. I've heard a couple might be going out to Angle Vale, I'm not sure that the better players have made up their minds as yet.

So we heard that a bye round is likely if the SAAFL cant find another club to come up.

Is there anyone out there who might be able to fill the void?

one out of left field!
ovies and the paralowie boys get together.
wear the stripes at home and the roos jumpers away
paralowie boys get to stay together for at least another year while they sought out what they are going to do long term
play out at ovies tha means they also get a social base and the bye disappears.
just a thought imo could be good for all concerned or is it to radical
maybe thats what this league and esp the administrators need to do,look outside the box because it is now 2011,not 1980
we stand as one
we fight as one
we win and lose as one
we are one

Personally I would be happy with the bye as well, does mean a smidge less in the coffers from match day takings though.

Was just curious to see if there were any other C/D grade clubs that are willing to come up.

Didnt some one say Flinders Park originally asked to have there C & D grades in Div 7/7R? This could be there chance.

The last club from Div 3 to field a side in D7/7R with their Cs and D's was SMOSH when we were last down I believe (correct me if I am wrong).

They pretty much got smashed week in week out, so Flinders Park would want to be a bit stronger...

Broadview are a Div 1 team with a C and D grade. Would they fill the last spot?

Sorry to see u guys go Perfect Drug. We had a good rivalry last year and that win at webb oval last year by us was our best for the year and one of the best ive been involved in. I think with what Glenunga have picked up they will be Top 3 in Div 6.

Would love a bye in div 7 to look after my old body

Why would Glenunga get the choice to go up. Would've thought Mitchell Park and whoever finished third in Div 7 would get first choice, unless of course they already said no.

pretty sure mitchell park did say no and i rekon SHOCS finished third? so they must have declined as well for glenunga to go up. should make the div 6 comp very competitive
