Heard he was offered $1000 a game, hard to refuse.

I heard from a very good source it is $1200 a game. lies n And the Saturday morning and flies back Saturdaofdown y night. Has something to do with his mrs not letting him stay the night down there.
Also heard of numerous plyers leaving including Fraser to Two Wells, Frick to Kapunda, Sleep going to the country for $$.
Could be a very long year for Para Hills.

think it might be because his son starts footy on sunday mornings

Correct we got up. 21 points total. Great game of footy. Our boys were quick played to the game plan perfectly and were like a well oiled machine. What this means for the rest of the year, dont know. Does this mean we are flag favourites from one game against a top 5 Div 2 side, not likely as we havent seen any other club in our grade play.
But... to be honest some bloody good signs and some great recruits who set the bar for what looks like a great season for us. It was great to finally have the pleasure and meet FC after the early game too.

Who played well Marbles?

I heard there were a couple of ring ins. Did they play, and how much did they play?

Everyone played pretty well slots
Bird was his usual self, Coch played well as did some new recruits.

a couple of the ring ins did play, helped to allow the coach to see how some blokes would play in other positions as they freed people up.
probs played 2-3 quarters each.

When i say 'fit', im not talking Lance Armstrong-type 'fit' though...its all relative of course... ;)

I reckon he will have a good year, without the pressure of coaching and all the stuff that goes with it.

How many backman you blokes gonna put on him this year Muffler ? ;)
