North

Central United
Houghton

Mawson Lakes

South

Marion
Lonsdale
Flinders Uni
Mitchell Park

I Believe you could see what the ladder looks like after 14 games, then Decide if its 3 games vs Teams in the same group or games vs teams in top 4 . bottom 4.

only issue with top 4 playing is the result will most likely allow the 5th placed side to make the top 4, you wouldn't want to finish 4th - it needs to be done at the start of the season and it is what it is, at least if you go on a geographical concept it has some merit or it is simply random - either way there will be someone come end of the year that will be a loser out of it

The other issue will also be that not all teams will get 9 home games as it will only be a 17 round season

The joys of an 8 team comp

The promotion relegation system is already inherently flawed. I've lost count how many times we should've been relegated and haven't or we have been put up without making the GF.

So if it's already flawed, why keep trying to nail jelly to the wall?

The sooner we let the league grade teams and divisions, with the clubs being consulted of course, the healthier the sport and competition will be.

So why don't you do 14+4 rather than 14+3?

After all the hullaballoo, TTG to remain (unless clubs vote otherwise) and we go with original draw.

Good luck to those in div7 this year. Heard they beat the premier from div6 2017 today. They did this with 6 of their best 21 not playing.

Mitchell Park with only 19 blokes for their games tonight. Para Hills kick a half dozen to start the A grade and I hear a bloke under the verandah say "I'm going home to watch the election"

MP with 19 players for a two game trial and Green acres rolling up with 24 for a two game trial, about time some tough calls were made

About what exactly? We had about that many play Lonsdale in 2015 too. We're traveling a ******* long way to play Para Hills in a trial game on a Saturday night FFS.

It was never a two game trial, it was originally 6 quarters, reduced to 4 because of poor numbers.

We're likely going to struggle, but should be able to field two teams.

Marion went down by about 4 goals.
Great game. Very good side against a strong well structure side. And with atleast 6 players to come in the A grade should be competitive
Adelaide Lutheran next sunday, should be a great day and a gauge of where we are at.
