Who wrote:Anyone see the matches today? Scotch pumped athelstone one thought it would be a fair bit closer that that do the results do it justice? Lookes like p Cahill was well held who was on him?

Gotta respect Pembroke must have put a bit of a fight up but Jolley obviously too good for them 6 of their 11 goals

Anyone got anything to add?

Huge celebrations at Payneham yesterday...by Pembroke at 3/4 time  They went bunta as they went into the final quarter with a one goal lead. PNU were sublime in the last 30 and kicked about 5.7 to maybe a couple of points. 8)

As Pnu broke about 4 goals clear the banter between supporters became heated and there were a lot of fiery exchanges. Around that time I heard one of the worst sledges/rebuttal I have ever heard from an elderly Pembroke supporter. " why don't you come to Lameroo next week, you won't beat us. We play real footy" ...WTF

Regardless I'd like to say well done to the Kings as they fought back from 3 goals down early to take control of the game and looked like they might be able to pinch it. They were well coached by Astro and on another day might have got the chocolates. Thankfully it wasn't to be.I'm sure the boys are Looking forward to renewing acquaintances with old rivals The Raggies next week.

With the Crows playing their last ever game at Footy Pk this weekend it'll be interesting to see if Seaton uses its oval for carparking or to play its 2nd Semi Final?
Last chance for Seaton to cash in on parking & BBQ before its bye bye to its main $cash cow$ income forever which will no doubt hurt the club big time.
After bombing out its 2 finals at HOME in straight sets last year Big Al would surely be thinking is it worth paying the Amateur League $2K or the cashcowpark?

well, if he does win one thing is for sure..... "The situation" will certainly be out fist pumping like the fantastic guido he is, no doubt at one of his favourite watering holes in the upcoming weeks, alongside Thomas "afl9s" Javur....

Yes & that money don't grow on trees!
Sponsorship " advertising " on club wall will have a big ? on it aswell with traffic flow reduced to a minimum next year.
Easy $40,000 loss.

Any scores!? How did Athelstone go today? They Smashed Pnu both times this year and wouldn't have wanted to go out in straight sets

Not unlike as last year for Raggies. After starting like gangbusters they tend to fold under pressure towards the end of a season. To say Rocky would be bitterly disappointed would be an understatement I would think.

Congrats to Scotch on their promotion. I thought Seaton would have got them yesterday in the wet conditions at Pedlar but still thought on a dry day on a big oval Scotch would have won. Add a week off, Cahill back and the space of Thebby and I think the flag is Scotch's to lose.

With PNU's form improving each week it could be another year where the RAMS had another great year but looked destined to remain in Divvy 3. It should be a game of last man standing I would think.....
