I'll bite:

1. What don't you agree with me about? Did I say something about the start date somewhere?
2. What did your club submission to the League say?
3. And who are you playing your trial games against and when?

All resolved now. Time for a chill out pill. DJ had some initial valid points, but all has been resolved for the common good of everyone. We have the correct date now, due to no ovals, because of cricket. We all knew that and now it is all resolved. Last chance of a trial match on March 30th and first round April 14th. End of story.

I thought we would be playing away first up given that we started at home last year. Hopefully no changes to the draw will be made, I think that our boys will be very happy to play Fitzroy first up, bring them on!!

Any chance of a twilight triple header? I reckon their new lights are going in today

A twlight triple header would be great I reckon but probably not, apparently our C grade don't do triple headers.

Any idea how good the lights will be?

Just on night games... Haven would have some the best lights in the amateur league. Why wouldn't night games become more of a feature event. Let's step out of the same ol same ol and be a little progressive!

Unless they are on Friday nights it doesn't really work, clubs rely heavily on their Saturday night intake.

it tends to work better when both club has lights, and therefore can return the favour... meaning no one misses out.

We used to try to get teams to play us at night but most clubs don't want to most likely for the above mentioned reasons, which is fair enough.

The few we did play were great, all of them got a decent crowd.

If any team would like to play a night game we would love to and if they have good lights obviously reciprocate the favour
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet
