I read in the other thread that we are playing Hope Valley again in a trial game, has anyone heard anything about heading to play a country team?

FR: The country team we have been contemplating is naracoorte. A weekend trip to the south east should be good fun.

Yeah that sounds good...and from you have told me you have been training the house down for about a month now so I dont think its a big thing for you to miss the first training, it will be good for me to get out to as many as possible and get fit before March.

but i dont think its any big loss...
with borg goin to para hills i need to push for b grade captain haha

nah dont think he's leaving but i think he might go out for a session or two with them..
i dunno if he wants a change or something similar.

he's not definate, i think it was just an idea....

id like to hope hes still at GG next year... but nothing is ever certain

with the introduction of the D grade in season 09 what do you think the plan of attack from the coaches will be? ie...filtering more younger players via the B/C grade and relegating the older blokes down into the D grade. the point being do you bust your arse and do a pre-season even though the coaches, in their mind, already have you filling a D grade spot cos of your age? i know this was a bit of a cantankerous subject in season 08 with the rotation policy in the C grade. thoughts on?
