Lying on the beach in the Bahamas with people fanning them with coconut tree leaves and feeding them grapes...

Do you think it takes overnight to come up with a draw for 8 divisons and c grades?
Don't play games with a girl who can play 'em better...

Well said, FC.

It does take a lot of effort and planning to keep such a big league functioning at a reasonable level, not to mention all the website stuff.

try typing up 10 matches from last season, give it a go and see how fun it is

then if u like, why not type the whole season 18 matches

hey then wont not try every match for pooraka's division, thats 5 matches * 18 rounds = 90 matches

hey then why not try the whole of the SAAFL about 11 divisions, thats 990 matches

oh wait each division also has reserves, so double the matches, thats 1980 matches

but wait theres more, each div plays about 5 finals matches, 22 divisions * 5 finals = 110 finals per season to type up

so season matches (1980 games) + all finals (110 matches) = 2090 matches per season

NOW on top of this please type in the names of the top 5 best players per team, per game means theres 10 best players

THEN type in the name of every goal kicker in all 2090 matches

NOW thats 2012 done.

Now do the same for every game since 2004

9 seasons * 2090 matches = 18810 match results to type up

oh wait theres more!!

state games too

-----------------------------------

i doubt we will ever see those scores again

And money well spent . Jordan will be unfit when he returns from the states. Mav could get a kick at Virginia . Motley will be sent off every game  campo Will be out on benders Friday before game . Cal hay will ping hammys cause he top heavy  in all seriousness good luck to the hawks bring a cup back to 5108

Jordan is the best player in the comp. Mav won't be needed to rack up numbers as will probably play back pocket/flank. Motley will probably start in the 2nds until he is proven. Campo can do what he likes on a Friday night as long as he produces what he has been doing in the intra clubs. And cal won't be pinging hammys. He will be lucky to get on the park at all this year.

Motley only rated in couple of 18 games in Div 3 with "Raggies". On form the opposition would benefit by him being on the field rather than sidelined for someone who can actually play footy.

That is an interesting move.... Have the Hawks had a re-structure on their Committee??? When Motley 'left' the club for Athelstone numerous senior officials of the club were quoted to say it was for the best of the club that he was gone.... Can a leopard change its stripes?? On a good day he is a half decent player.... however a few years on and Div 1, he will struggle.... With all the other pick-ups the Hawks have already got, I cant see where he is needed or where he will actually get a spot in their best 21???? Will he be happy giving the squad depth and playing 2's like he did for the majority of his last year at Bagster Road???

I think if you asked the players at the club if THEY want him there that would be a big YES and i think he will do just fine
with whatever roll he is given at the club

Salisbury North denied Brad Robertson's clearance to Virginia for the third time.

Young Christopher will slot in nicely on half back flank where he finished 4th in the best and fairest in Salisbury North's grand final year and has dropped 10kgs since round 1 last year (thanks to a self imposed McDonalds ban) so he is in very good nick. He knows his attitude is the main thing and it won't be a problem he will be a valued member of the SN squad.
