Don't know. I think it would make a move to the cattery harder for me, seeing as i would then be playing up against Ingle Farm.
Also if Ovies were in div 7 and had two sides then i wouldn't imagine they would need me or my help, sounds like they would be well on the right track already. One of the reasons i was/am considering going out there was to help them get a side on the paddock..

With the coach of Wingfield resigning due to lack of numbers at training we definitely won't be seeing them in Div 7. Will they get a team up at all?

I'm fairly sure he resigned at season's end after they were knocked out of the Prelim and there were 'altercations' at the club.

I remember watching the 2007 pre-lim down at wingfield, trinity smashed them and a few of us clg blokes went down to watch who we would be playing the next weekend. When wingfield lost there supporters turned on us and tried to fight us as we left the game! pretty bloody scary!!!

cant say ive missed playing them either

Don't think too many could say that they do! Some of my favourite football memories are from our finals wins over them and we always had some decent clashes with them, so there is this part of me that gets nostalgic when I think of Wingies and playing footy out there.

It's cricket season everywhere mate... getting 15 (with minimal A graders) out at training 3 weeks before trials would have to be moderately concerning.

Good point.....now you've pointed this out I'm moderately concerned. In the mean we'll look to win the toss, bat and make a winning score
No worries, good luck in Division 6.

After having a chat to a few people at training I would think we would probably stay down. Considering the horror year we just had it would probably be the wise choice.

With glenungas recruits i would think they would go pretty well in d6. Cant see SHOC taking the chance so it would fall to glenunga?

I wonder if Glenunga really would accept promotion given that they are short premiership favourites (even more with IF gone from the Div) and shorter odds to make the GF anyway. Div 7 to Div 6 is one of the hardest leaps in the SAAFL and you need to be prepared to add at least five A Grade players to your GF side to be marginally competitive in Div 6. Or is their team going to be that good anyway?

I believe the club would jump at the chance to be moved up to Div 6.
