we won 3 in a row in 87,88,89 in the southern football league... haven't won one since... last time we played in a GF was in 92 versus Henley in SAFA...

We had two good games against Black Friars, winning one by about 10 points from memory and losing round 1 by a point, so its fair to say that both teams are very similar. At the end of the day Havens finished above Blacks but Blacks had a better percentage

No offence mate but you guys didn't match up well against us on either occasion, so it's a bit hard for me to judge your team. You obviously played some good footy throughout the year to finish above them.
It was the beauty of div. 5 this season, it would be hard to judge a list from strongest team to weakest as different teams matched up better to different opponents.
The one thing I would pencil in is that Hectorville were the best team for the season and they deservedly won the flag.

Haven were level with you in the third qtr in the last round.

we've always preferred to have the signature prior to an announcement. players were informed saturday once it came through. i realise some of you guys would have known last week due to his previous link to HV. you're right i think it happened wednesday night or therabouts.
