Witnessed this game on the weekend and yes you are right on both accounts. Port were very good but Modbury were very ordinary. Districts had winners all over the ground. Modbury seem to hit flat spots from time to time and this may cost them come finals time. Any other news from other games. Did any one see the Ramblers Scotch game would be very interested in getting some feedback from that game. Have seen the top 4 sides in the last 2 weeks and this finals competition is a very open affair.

Cheers, i find that if D mitchell has a descent defender he really struggles, Modbury rely too much on him kicking goals against poor oppostion.

Lynch stood him and he only had one kick but didnt play last quarter, Lynch 5th best in paper, Mitchell may have been injured as I wouldnt say Lynch to be a good defender!!

Great game though, Districts really sent a message with there 1st half of footy, it was a team gearing up for finals, better to watch than and SANFL game!!

Interesting to note Sacred Heart have Kilburn this week and if they win by a huge result may just overtake Modbury for the double chance. I know Modbury have Woody South but the SHOCKERS could easily make up the 3 percent.

Where will finals be played and what are the likely match ups?

Districts, week off

Seaton v Modbury, or Shocs?

Shocs vs Modbury or scotch?

Is that right?

Where are they all played at nuetral grounds or home ground advantage?

Grand Final ?

The reason Fraser played b grade is the same reason he started on the field when he was the late call up. The team is bigger than any player and match ups, team structure and most of all discipline and rules that have to be followed, unlike your football club this year footy fan.....

Come on night raver, stop pulling out the cliches, were just taking it one week at a time, etc we can all do that!!! Seriously, if Fraser played B grade this week why? Why wuld you put him on the field instead of Place? You have taken out a character in amateur footy!! Diassapointing!!

This Hosie bloke must be an awesome talent he was saying he has has been approached by Carlton,Melbourne and Freo for next year. That along with roles at Norwood ,Port, South, Sturt he doesnt know how he is gonna fit it all in.
He thinks he may have to give away his role as high performance manager for the Redbacks

Not sure if you actually read what i posted footy fan, from what i have seen of the rams this year they are more about playing the team game and going somewhere. Not being a team full of characters who yoyo like previous seasons.

That sounds like hosey, what cricket club you from Bulldog, i think he played for Port in district cricket, not sure how many games, im sure if you have a spre week or 2 he could give you the run down including runs scored, wickets taken, etc etc, very full of himself. It is almost like Hodges has done a Dr evil and got himself a mini me!!
