what was the deal with valleys runner in the b grade game.. lol at someone in the houghton crowd yelling "shut the f*** up you yellow c***!", don't think he said anything after that.

thats a good call River - I was playing the game and thought the same of our number 4 - who's name is Scott. He was bloody good - funny, he wasn't in our top 3 best players selected at the club!! I thought he was BOG easily closely followed by my Bro (no. 2)

Yeah the runner got told off a few times for 'coaching'. Don't think it was anything too serious anyway - is not AFL!!

I think #4 from Hope Valley's B grade is Scott McLaughlin. Went to school with the guy and played footy with him a few years back. Great runner, works hard, just needs to keep working on those skills and he should be in Hope Valley's A grade before the years out. How's Browney going out there? Good bloke he is!

Yeah Browney is going quite well - missed a few games through injury but is great to watch when he is on.

Yeah I'm hoping Scotty McLaughlin plays in the A's soon. His start to the game on Saturday was really good - worked his ass off, and did some hard things which was good to see from him.

Yeah Tommy Matoga had a really good game on Saturday. His skills showed in those conditions. the MacGuire boys have been a bit slower in getting started this year, but Dave MacGuire has started to show some good form, and John played his first A grade game on Saturday, which hopefully he can stay up there.

They got carved up, too small.[/quote]

You must have been watching a different game. Tommy Matoga would have had at least 25 kicks on saturday. If that's getting carved up, I must be stupid??

i Was at the game but didnt see or hear anything about it. Their full forward did weigh about 140kg so maybe he just sat down and the seats broke!?

Browny wasn't going to good off the field from what i saw saturday night! On the field, he is unpredictable and can be exciting and then extremely frustrating within minutes. He's got a bit of an "X" Factor about him
