So how are all teams fairing so far with their pre-season matches?

Who have you played Mr Beefy? Been walking around Ingle Farm footy club a few times and the numbers havent been that flash. Bet they cant wait til cricket season has finished. There was almost more at the girls training that there was blokes ;)

Will be fantastic to see the end of cricket, will be missing a few this week to cricket this weekend. To quote a former coach of mine "it's not even a real sport"

Numbers are fine, just getting people consistently out has been the problem ;) . However, the MBK did a bit of naming & shaming & combined with a trial coming up, we had about 35+ last night. With another lot over in the nets.

They move the ball quite well in the drills but they have a few older blokes running around. The older blokes didnt look to fit when the sprinting part kicked in. They should do fine though once all their numbers are out there. Gee some of the girls can kick a footy though. Would make some of the guys I played with look second rate ha ha ha.

Thats the problem with footy clubs having a cricket club also. Its hard to get the majority of the squad training regularly becuase of cricket finals. Ive done alot of pre-seasons where we've had some of our better players not train due to cricket. Takes them a few weeks to catch up.
