This obviously wouldn't include retirements or blokes returning from a hiatus.

I can tell you its nowhere near accurate in MPFC's case.

I don't think it includes players returning that have been manning space stations in orbit for the past two years either.

Quichey is that you or ZZ Top lookalike Daniel Tapp? I hear Tappy is reuniting with ex Brooker Rexy at the Raiders.....My understanding is Tappy has a fellow 2009 Kersbrook B grade Premiership player joining him at Houghton in 2010 also. Both should go alright in this Div.

I think you would both be surprised how many people have taken those numbers as gospel signs of either the downfall of some clubs or the meteoric rise of others.

Without giving too much away I think the opposite is actually true. We have had a few seasoned veterans retire in the off season and a couple that have decided to have a year off. Using that tables structure I would say Mitchell Park is more -6 than +1.

We haven't poached any players from Goodwood. Our improvement is going to come from senior players being more committed and some younger players stepping up.

Hey guys i've heard from a very reliable source that Houghton have come into some good money this season (not sure exactly how). Word going around is that they are using this coin to pay all these hills players that are suddenly coming down with one even being offered near $150 a game!?? Strange thing is that he has only played B grade for the past 2 years for a certain Hills Premiership team (Kersbrook?). :?

Can any of the Houghton guys explain a bit better how they're doing this?? Seems a bit over the top for Div.6 but definitelty true...

Does it warrant a response?

All players have the opportunity of being paid, not just the new recruits- $150 if they get A Grade BOG etc. Perhaps you heard wrong footygod...

A few ex-Hills Central/Country players out there, have only seen a couple of them play, don't know much about the rest of them as yet.

Yes Quichey every club i know offers cash or something along those lines for A grade BOG each week.

I havent heard wrong at all, i'm not saying what you're doing is wrong or the money is ill gotten or anything like that.

If you dont think questions like this warrant a response maybe you should tell your new recruits not to run around telling people how much they're getting each week
Pretty hard to ignore when people are bragging about it. Just wondering where its all coming from :?:

Footygod it is easy to get behind the computer and start rumours when no ones knows where u are from, at least put your home club on your profile so we all know where your from or at least name your sources.

ONe thing I will say is that they arent the only blokes getting paid, Greeny, Starry, Clint are all on $300 a week, Hally and Stuey are on $250 a week all new players to the club from TTG Under 18's are on $100 a week, the coach is on $10000, his 2 assistants are on $5000, all reserves players receive $50 a week, even though JOsh Davis cant play this year for us we are paying him $100 a week to keep him at the club for next year.

So this year we will be paying a total of $77600 for players to play at the Raiders, not too bad at all considering our total operating income is around $60000 a year, might have to start doing some deals like Ablett and Geelong are doing..........

Footygod sounds to me like those Grapes you are eating could be SOUR...................................
