You would probably know more about PHOS than most but if you're right about them I would think PNU would be before Broadview.

Have PNU recruited really well? Would need a few big inclusions to be a GF favourite from not making the finals in 2008.

Or the rest of the comp won't be as strong as it was

Fair call about the strength of the comp. The top 3 all gone, leaves PHOS, Uni, Athelstone and PNU as the only real contenders from last year. None of those were particularly impressive last year and all are on the wane a little. Can't see Pembroke, Scotch, EP, FP. Broadies and Seaton should be round the mark but won't dominate.

Correct. I would say the Modbury & SHOC combinations in 2008 were an exception rather than the rule

Div 2 last year was without question the toughest Div 2 has ever been. PHOS for mine are the side to beat, picked up a few incl Rowe from Towns i hear. Scotch have lost most of their Sturt players I believe, so they may have a tough year ahead

Won't give up on them, but I think having a weak B grade will hurt them coming down a div. Most relegated div 1 teams would have a few B graders who can step up to div 2 and Broadies will miss out on these. I've only heard about recruits from the Barossa too and they will hardly dominate div 2.

Ask 10 different people and you'll get ten different answers. Most say the top couple of teams would make div 2 finals. The last few years have been dominated by the top 2 or 3 teams and I think it falls away a bit after them.

tbs think you might find that broadies b grade wont be the chopping block that you may think. recruiting has been for all grades not just the a grade and a lot of players have returned which will strengthen all grades imo
