Travelled to Sacred Heart on the weekend to see what effect the week would take out on the Ramblers. What I saw was a very dangerous attacking side who absolutely blew a quality opposition out of the water. Ramblers were solid all over the ground backline good, midfield good and with plenty of attacking options this side is set for a big finals series. With the talked about problems supposedly effecting them I would hate to see what this team is capable of when all is going right.

Not sure on the numbers of fraser kemp or rex turbo but if they were playing up forward they were a very potent force. They had one guy up forward who grabbed everything think they called him koot this bloke has great hands. Also saw the last quarter of the b's and I know last week there was some talk on burton and his place in the team. From what I saw he was pretty good and I noticed in sundays paper he was rated best on. Sacred Heart were very ordinary though!!!

I watched the game and Seatons defence killed SHOC all day and their delivery into the forward line was brilliant. SHOC were rubbish though, they have been down last few weeks, but all credit to Seaton who smashed them all over the park. But a good wake up call for SHOC as they head into the finals.
And good to see that their B grade lost a game....they were due! And yes they were ordinary. But a fair side their 2s.

Whats your view on Winstanley RRR. For a player of his size and the level of footy he has played he should be dominating div 2 footy. He was terrible all he seem to do was argue with the umpires and try and fight the opposition.

Ruckman are a different breed arent they!
He has been a little hot and cold. He's played some crackers this year but but terrible in other matches (he has missed a fair few too). The 2 matches vs Seaton for example he was ordinary both games. I agree he should be dominating, but when he 'wants' to turn it on he can, so maybe in a couple of weeks time we'll see what he can do.

With the top 5 pretty much set, how important will it be for Seaton to turn it on in the first week of finals. They have shown they can match it with Districts, but have struggled with a couple of teams lower on the ladder. Will be interesting watching the form of teams coming into the finals. Modbury will be a threat come finals time especially if they get a game at their home ground! If it's dry, fine conditions Districts will be hard to stop, might struggle if its wet though!

It will be important for all teams in the top 5 to turn it on in the first few weeks of the finals not just the rams. Districts for mine is the team under most pressure, top position always comes with a bit more expectation, and how they handle that will be interesting. Scotch will be dangerous for a team like SHOC especially the way the hearts are travelling at the moment.

Cox is a quality player, played league footy didnt he?
So the Rams didnt miss the Big Place, Might be different and i hope it isnt come finals time. But we all love or hate characters and he certainly was a character. RIP Big Fella, enjoy the football wilderness and hopefully you can have a kick somewhere next year. Perhaps at Henley with the Pastyn boys?

Witnessed the Pt District V Modbury game and have to say that the 10 goal margain is a reflection of the distance in talent between the two teams , having said that Modbury may get past Seaton for a birth in the GF .

Gee Kilburn must be looking forward to the season's end after another 150 point plus whipping and there magoo's scoring just 3 points ...... not unlike the old Pt Elliott days .
What i dont know about football isnt worth knowing .

Agree with you Hafey, Districts looked pretty good and some how have to squeeze Maddern, Sayers, Pumpa, Pickett and Gates back in for the finals!! Some tough decisions ahead for the coaching staff :)
