C's were getting changed on the oval outside when we last played there.

They dont look like that now  very heavy

By the way i watched the "Doggys" train for a few minutes last night. They looked very switched on and focused on the task ahead. From what i saw i think they will get over Pultney on the weekend and Trinity will beat Lockleys based on what i saw this year. Clearly we didnt see the best Lockleys either time though.

Hmm fair enough, could've sworn that was the ground we played on earlier in the year, i remember having to go through the playground. Either way doesn't matter, the point i'm trying to make is I dont think there is more than one change room/facility there.. or is there? :?

Vaughton Changerooms you have do it in shifts as there isn't enough room  The most embarrassing thing is that Pulteney have played some A grade games on that oval

So my tips ;

Ingle Farm 13-24
TOS 1-12
PNU 255-266 cans consumed on the hill supporting our As and Bs. Javor a real chance to drain a dozen :D

Pulteney have a very good side on paper - Whinnen, Deans-Costi in the middle, Barmby and Krawzyk Gowland up forward, I'm guessing May will play on the wing as well. This will be a mighty battle, and we will need to bring our best to get over the line, especially with the game being moved to the bigger ground at Campbelltown.

On a side note, I think a massive congrats and well done should go to Pulteney C grade and the way they have come along this season - last year they struggled really bad, forfeited twice to us and this year they are up and about playing finals..

All that said and done, i'm ready, the boys are ready, the KPI's are noted   8) 8) ITS GO TIME!

TOS haven't named a side, but going off the side that Lockleys have named I think that if Kreig plays then TOS by less than 2 goals.

Having said that Lockleys d TOS twice this year, playing home 1st game of a triple header and a big ground will test TOS and tilts things in their favour.

Toss a coin, pick a side and there is your winner, could mount a case for both.

I know you have become accustomed to this being your winning margin, but I think you might be challenged by weather and gas-bagging and anticipate only a 150 cans consumed - Javor to chuck up after only a few, I hear he has become quite the sprayer these days :P

Ha! Very good assesment PG. Not sure if I will trek out to Campbelltown yet as a) I don't know half the side anymore and b) if the weather is shite for Golf.

But Credit must go to The Krawzyk boys and May. 3 mates that have tried their guts out to make the C grade successful. They were fresh out of school in 2008 when the C's were last up and about but were cruelly denied a finals spot due to some registration paper issues (They had a gun CHB back then as well ;) ) It all fell apart the next season when the B grade and C grade coaches clashed and caused those 3 young lads to inherit a mighty mess.

Congratulations to Pulteney, they played good tough running footy today and deserved the win. As I posted yesterday in regards to the progress the "C-men" at Pulteney have made, it's outstanding and they deserve all the success they get.

From a personal point of view, I put as much thought and effort into the preparation of this game, we didn't leave any stone unturned but unfortunately we came up short so I cant be disappointed with my players and their endeavour and application, it's been a long season time for some well deserved R&R :)

Good luck to the remaining sides in the finals, but be wary Pulteney could well be the sleeping giant that's just awoken..

Looking forward to next Saturadays 2nd semi v TOS. If we win it will be my last game ever playing on the hallowed turf of Payneham. Hopefully the weather Gods are kind to us. I'm certain it's going to a ripping contest. Finals footy, makes all of the pain and sacrifice seem worth it.
