close to 10 goals

you can always get full final scores on the Broadview website by 5,10pm each Saturday night by clicking on fixtures and using the drop down to D1 results

Beat Henley by a goal at Henley, flogged SHOC's (especially if you look at scoring shots) at home and beat goodies by a big margin, 8 goals, at home today. Big wins against the three highest rated teams from last year

Games of the week.
Gaza V Broadview should be a cracker, always big games for the local rivalry. Gaza are looking the goods so far.
TTG V Sals Nth is another good one, if Sals Nth don't get up it could be real trouble for them.
SHOC V PHOS is another important game, will see just where PHOS are in relation to the top 4.
Henely & Goodwood sould have easy wins.

From what I have seen this year (Gaza Round 1, Broadies last round) I would be picking Gaza comfortably. That said historically these two teams have always had hard fought close games.

Yep, our boys certainly got a bit of a lesson during the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Spiteful game i must say. Plenty of incidents all over the ground. #20 from Gaza very lucky to only receive a yellow card. Happened right in front of me, very late high hit. Other than that, can only hope our boys gain some idea of where they need to be to be a contender this year, feel sorry for Eastern Pk this week against Gaza, could get ugly on the scoreboard!!!

not too sure what incidents you are talking about here. and the yellow card, whilst definitely deserved, should only have been that. these late hits can often be made to look far worse than they really are.
the game seemed to be played pretty fair from both sides overall i thought.

On the Div 1 tipping thread so far everyone has the exact same tips for this round. Unfortunately due to my commitments and my clubs lack of participation at the highest level in 2011 im not getting to see too much of the div 1 clubs but is there any club that may cause an upset this week from what people have seen???
I have been told not to comment on the tip thread so....
TTG must be playing much better footy in the last 2 weeks and its good to see Bollmeyer living up to some of that enormous potential. Is there much chance of an upset at Duncan Fraser this week. Is this a battle that may have serious implications on the relegation situation come August? From what i hear and read its looking like EP and someone in Div 2 next year. The loser of this one may shoot into early favouritism for that unwanted title. Gepps 1-10 in a close one for mine.

Gaza have to treck to Dwight but they surely will have an answer for everything EP throw at them. I wouldnt be suprised to see 40 goals in total down there this week. 25-15 Gazas way however is my prediction.

Goodies should be too good for Broadies but if the Tigers wanna play finals and have an impact on them they wouldnt wanna be 3 games and % off the pace by the end of round 6. Should be another good contest. Goodwood by that 2 goal margin they seem to specialise in

Its hard to tip against Henley and i havent tipped PHOS all year despite an excellent start to their Div 1 campaign. Should be a good clash down at the skull cave. 2 former Eagles boys at the helm of their clubs looking for bragging rights also makes it an intruiging battle. I think this 2 weeks we will really find out how good PHOS are as they get the Sharks then Gaza at Klemzig. Henley by 21-30 IMO.

Salisbury Nth coming of their first win will be keen to back it up at home but i think last year GF runners up will have too many fwd options on the massive salisbury deck and i expect Jon Flo to go to Jo Hay and try and curtail his midfield influence. SHOC by 21-30 would be no shock to me :)

Bloody injuries haven't helped our cause either, think we get around 7 or 8 back this week

I saw a few players standing around on Saturday, bit of quality on the sidelines! Lets hope your mail is good and they are back this week.

Some of you involved with the Salisbury North Football Club will know David and Kathy Cluse, here is a story about them on the SA Country Footy website:

This week's yarn is a wonderful look at what makes country footy so special and involves the Eudunda Robertstown Football Club in the NEFL.
