Are you 100% sure Felch???

Straight from the horses mouth P32 !!!

Well that's probably good enough I guess! Last I heard he had meet with them, they gave him a contract to take home with him but he hadn't signed it yet. But that was from a bloke at the club who may not be in the know. Not as much as Paul anyway!

Well done Marshy, bud luck Seaton, it just seems to go from bad to terrible for them.
Bridgewater have picked up a quality player and i truley hope he gets rewarded for his football talents, not his off-field behaviour, watch where you leave your toothbrushes Bridgewater boys.............

Will they have a C grade this year???
By the sounds of it they may only have enough for an A grade side, 3/4 full of B graders.

I just heard a rumour from a Mypo player that Julian Wait will probably play at Imperials this year.

Anyone add anything to that?

Wouldn't surprise given that Roger Puckridge plays there, as well as another ex Eyre Peninsula lad, Luke Harrowfield (ex West Adelaide). Julian's brother Tyson played there last year as well, and although hes doing a pre season with the Port Magpies, he'd be a chance to go back to Imps again some time this year.

I hope they don't go out splashing $$$ to players that arn't up to scratch, they may find themselves in more trouble than the early settlers.
The clubs financially in good sted, they just didn't work hard enough eg "advertising" for a new coach.
They become inpatient after no replies from one add in the paper, by taking the easy way out in the decision they made.
Seaton should of advertised for 4 wks, to give them every chance of getting a profile coach that could attract players to the club.
They could of well got the Weed for instance.

How's it going No Mercy.

I tend to agree. Having a few mates at Ramblers, they're a bit dissapointed with the way things have gone this pre season. It'd probally be fair to say their not looking forward to this season.

Saying they won't win a game is a bit harsh tho turbo. still some quality players around.

Henley is a good example of what a profile coach can achieve.

Who do you expect to help in recruiting Down&Out??
You don't take up a coaching position & expect others to do your recruiting.
If you win the job Its up to yourself to build your side.
You also should have your coaching staff decided upon before your own appointment.

Mr Down and Out

Am not pushing for Marshall to take over immediately as an A1 Coach, purely stating that he will be a good A1 Coach in the future. As the Assistant Coach at Seaton last year, Paul was injured late in the year (when some filthy dog, king hit his jaw from behind) and he sat in the Coaches box with us. He certainly is very astute and will be very good one day.

Simple as that. Whatever issue you are trying to get at, is making you look foolish though. Think that everyone at Seaton is trying hard to help the current Coach - so stop, think, dont be a fool and stop trying to create something that is not there.

Marshall has already coached at a lower level whilst Captain/Coach, of an A4 side, but when his illustrious playing days are behind him - he will be a good A1 COACH, whether that be at Seaton or any other A1 Club.

Simple I hope even for you. Dont know what you were fishing for actually, but think that the rod in your hand may not have a reel attached or any fishing line for that matter. Might be as thick as fishing line but that is where it ends.

Whilst I am not helping Tank this year and not doing anything in a Coaching capacity, I and several others have tried to steer him towards several players. Indeed I would have spoken to him most weeks since he was appointed and have chatted about recruits and football.

Whatever little bait you were throwing out - is deep at the bottom of the ocean sport. Think that Tank and Seaton have their coaching staff all sorted out and Big Al is one of the really good administrators, so you may yet get a little shock.
Nice try though to get a bite BUT you look very, very stupid now
