I'm very envious - there is no club I'd rather play for in a GF!
No club I'd rather see win a GF.

Hope Switter is okay.
Switters ok. He came back to club after. Hel be firing by Saturday :)

And ur spot on DW. Great club and great bunch of players. I dare say we are in peak form and at full strength As and Bs this week. I hope you can make the trip down mate. Gonna be a big day, u can run some water with me

And LM. I cant speak for players but as a supporter it was one of the best wins iv seen. The boys just gelled and all the fitness that was banked in pre season came through when they needed it. Im pretty sure the Gawler South boys will be happy with this year. A lot of them had never played in a senior final, let alone a Grand Final.
They have all played really well for us. Lee Makris being the standout during the finals, awesome player. Hel win the D5 Norm Smith i reckon.

Man, it is still hard to believe Lee is back playing at the club after all these years.
My old man coached him in under nines. Tough as back then he was.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

wonder if Heccies took the opportunity to train on saturday just to familiarise themselves with the possible conditions.

went to the div 2 prelim of eastern park v uni. the most remarkable conditions i've seen footy played in so i was contemplating what might have been going on at the lodge.

one week to go and it's all over for yet another year.

I can tell you we were out there for about an hour on the track Sat morning. Daly was a mess, very happy we didn't have to play in those conditions. But we've had our fair share of wet weather footy this year so should be used to it. The likes of Wiz, Wootton, Francisco etc love the in and under so no issues with the wet.

Well played today Elizabeth

BH had a few physical tussles all day, u get that when ur targeted in the field!!
But any decent footballer knows that soon as that siren goes that's the end of it, not according to a certain player. And to the guy who I believe played all year, running on the field to throw a huge sucker punch. I hope he feels like a big man?
Disgraced himself and his club!

Brahma Lodge are a disgrace and should be kicked out of the league. It is the 2nd year in a row that one of their players or supporters has wandered onto the field after losing a final and king hit a bloke from behind. Irrespective of whether there was some push and shove after the game, cowards like these blokes who think they are heroes for hitting someone when they are not looking should be outed forever. P*ss weak!

Bit much to say a whole club needs to be kicked out the league. In all fairness though some form of punishment will be needed to stop this happening as it blemishes the people at the club that do actually do the right things.

In saying that though, we probably arent the first nor last club to have this kind of behaviour occur gameday.

I've seen an interchange player from a college side run onto the ground and belt someone. It happens and it shouldn't, however, these situations are best delt with harshly, but also internally.

What a load of crap. fights between players on field is one thing. Others coming in is not on. Blokes like u that think its ok and justified are the sort of blokes Brahma Lodge dont need.

Was nowhere near as bad in the morning though! I recon our two best games have been in the wet this season. beating brahma away and thrashing plympton at home in rd 18. not that much rain this wk so will prob be expecting the ground to be a bit churned up and soft underfoot after 2 matches. skill levels shouldnt be affected that much IMO.

brahma have lost 2 matches at home in 2 yrs. both in wet conditions.
