Ur kiddin urself browny. If u or anyone else saw wat happened u would know that I had nothing to do with it starting. Sour grapes by a blokes who is "suppose" to be a leader and then a shitful act by one of the players that didn't play. Take a good hard look internally before u throw stones at me.

I think you should have a long hard look at yourself boozehound. Here is what happened and I will ask boozehound to agree or disagree. In the first quarter you gave me an elbow to the face? Correct? Then when you went to shake my hand after the game I Told you to f$$& off because you were a cheap shot c$$$. Then you grabbed me and throw the first punch. Good luck to the other 21 blokes from Elizabeth that play next week. They deserved their win today

The media ban should be put back on to try curb the crap that'll flow on here after this game.... ;)
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Well done to Eliz B grade today, adapted quicker to the conditions and wanted it more. Quality side who should get what they deserve next week after been the best team all year. Our chances werent helped with a player been red carded, but we had to deal with it and were far from disgraced. We fought it out well and at times could have got back in the game but Eliz got some timely goals. Good year by our lads, disappointed we didnt get to the big one but an improvement again after making the semi's last year.

Would like to know what was said during your qtr time chat. I thought we had the better of the 1st qtr, down by a couple points and after qtr time Eliz came out and were pretty physical. Was that the plan? Not saying it was bad or anything, just interested if that was the tactic because it worked pretty well in the 2nd.

Good luck to Heccies and Eliz next week in the A's, enjoy your success and promotion to Div 4. As for the after game incident, I didnt see it but heard it wasnt that flash. Probably the less said the better.

An amazing day at brahma lodge today. Firstly in the early game , elizabeth took control of the game in the 2nd quarter and werent troubled from that point . Amazingly the game was played in little rain if any and a breeze that was gentle at best and the ground was rather good. That was soon to change.
In the A grade , Elizabeth kicked with the aid of the breeze in the first quarter and after brahma lodge got the first goal settled to kick the next 3. 15 minutes into the quarter the change/storm arrived with conditions becoming deplorable.
The second quarter started well for brahma but every goal they kicked was matched by eliz and both teams kicked 3 goals each for the term . These 3 goals by elizabeth were immensely important into the breeze to see them lead by 16 points at half time.
The third term saw brahma lodge get right in the game as they reduced the margin to 9 points at 3 qtr time by kicking 2 unanswered goals . Elizabeth missed some important shots to only kick 5 points for the term. Game on with brahma having the breeze in the last.
The last qtr started with an easy open goal missed from 10 metres out by eliz that could of been important but elizabeth played the next few minutes in their forward half culminating in a soccer goal putting them up by 3 goals . The last quarter was a real arm wrestle and after numerous throw ins and ball ups brahma finally broke free to reduce the margin to 2 goals at about the 20 minute mark. Brahma had a good opportunity not long after but a behind was scored and with that any chance they had was seen to be gone and when eliz kicked a point later to go 13 points up the result was beyond doubt. The siren sounded thereafter and most players shook hands and an amazing day of amateur league footy was over .
Amazingly with such a gale to one end of the 14 goals scored for the day 7 were scored at each end with the final score being 7.20 to 7.8

Brahma would be devastated with the weather. It really cost them. Losing Hickey (gun) was also a massive blow for them. The game was just a complete slog all day and elizabeth better suited by the weather got up. Brahma's speed has hurt us three times this year but the heavy conditions nullified that for us.

One thing must be said. We are great mates and as such this may sound biased however for Carey Payne to come into our huddle after a a really painful loss just shows the true measure of the bloke. He is a great coach but a better bloke. Absolutely appreciated by every player and supporter at Elizabeth how humble he was as well as apologising for the ugly scenes after the game. Brahma Lodge is in good hands while he is coach, could coach at a much higher level with great success I am sure of that. Good luck to Payney in whatever his future holds.

Good review, Elizabeth too good in the conditions. Could have put us away earlier with straight kicking but to thier credit kept marching on.
Best of luck to both teams in the grand final.

Geez custard, how do u remember so much of the game? Lol

At least some of the posters on here are more gracious in defeat than a few players and supporters after the game!!!

One of the best moments iv had in footy was singing the song players supporters everyone facing their supporters. Never heard it with so much gusto. Moments like that gel a team together.
Bring on Hectorville!!!!
