Mindboggling that you could think it possible in this day and age to play blokes contracted to another club and denied clearances.

Here's a report for you - $7.50 for a can of Furphy is highway robbery!!

Can't argue with that but I dont drink the rubbish

Disgraceful pricing from Rosies! Better have that price down around the $5 mark by Rd 11! 8)

Why Smithfield get their score wiped?

Lockleys snitched...

Refer to whufc post on previous page, that'll give a bit more of an idea. ;)

Need Zedman or Giffo to confirm this - not great start to year if so??

Media ban at Lockleys.. Zed in witness protection.

Not sure about other games but from our game:

Player - Josh Giddings (PUL) was reported.. missing.. after failing to show up for the A grade game. Witness statements indicate he was seen warming up, but vanished once the siren blew to start the game.

BBQ - Unfortunately a busy first day meant i was unable to sample the BBQ, but my dad wandered down for a look, and he reckons the Steak Sandwich was one of the best he's ever had, the meat was succelent and well cooked.. but his food standards aren't as high as mine.

Beer prices - also was unable to sample the beers and prices.

On reflection was a really depressing day for food and drink for me.

Ummm I’m guessing it was the Marstons boys

I found it odd they were putting up photos on their Facebook of the two Marston boys playing on Saturday and it looked they were playing against c grade maybe b grade shaped players lol

I looked to see what grade they were playing thinking surely they didn’t play b or c grade and noticed they weren’t named. Obviously Lockleys May have done similar. Giving there recent history against one another I’m not surprised Lockleys were all over this.

Smithfield v Eastern Park this week might be like the hunger games. Only the strong survives

So what happens to the reserves result? If unregistered blokes played in the A’s then that means others would have played B’s who probably in hindsight should have played A’s until the others were cleared. Not trying to be a smart arse or start anything (I’m not 100% sure what is happening behind the scenes) but it seems odd that result stands.

Agree

I don’t think many clubs would have an issue if the rule was all senior points won on that weekend were deducted.

Disagree, unless B/C grade also played unregistered players

I also can understand the point that there is no guarantee that the result would have changed with other registered players in the side instead of the ones selected.

I'd rather see B grade result stand - much prefer Lockleys & Smithfield share a point, rather than one have 2

C Grade doesn't matter anyway, they got pumped.

I was informed by a reliable source that it was $7 for a red tin at Smiffies.

Coz I don't reckon they would've been, I've already sent a couple of texts out, I stopped in there Friday night for a cricket preso and they were $6, down to $5 during happy hour.
They usually drop them for the footy.
