Give the club's the option to vote on it so we don't have to make the call and then we can't be held accountable for the decision,.Heard the boss may have had a couple of things to say at the tribunal that were interesting but they can wait for another day.Question is though if correct, " why did he sit as a tribunal member when they have a cast of thousands? I thought the top dog only took notes if anything.Got his mate as the tribunal chairman too I see

I try to sift through your woft and I don't know what your opinions are? You just seem to hate the world and everyone in it.

Are you angry at the AdFL, Salisbury North, the affiliated clubs, the tribunal, JK or all of the aforementioned.

Family member goes to jail, but also the kids, wife, grandparents and cousins.

Seems reasonable......not really.

and having the clubs vote on something as contraversial, rather then just allowed to give opinions is pretty ordinary, as clubs would not be thinking about whats best for the welfare of the rest of the players, just what benefit it is to them peronally - which is pretty selfish..

someone here said before, "SN agreed to the terms of the AAA"

Agreed terms mean jack S**T if the terms go outside of the law or whats deemed socially acceptable. Ie i doubt anyone in here would be happy with their childs school punishing your kid for somethig another child did... and the whole "you signed him at this school therefore you knew the risk" would'nt fly.

Collective punishment is illegal in the workplace.. considering we have to have insurance, subs, follow AFL rules etc etc....

So stopping all players would fall under cpollective punishment...and i seriously doubt the the league has the capacity to deal with 70+ players health and welfare issues....footy is an outlet for a lot of people... taking that away from soneone who has not done something wrong could land you in a dangerous legal minefield.

* All players transferred internally carry a 25% loading on all penalties if found guilty at the tribunal in 2018.

Problem solved, play on.

Majority of the A graders have already moved onto other leagues anyway, so wont be many players left available (from the A grade) that would move anyway.

This isn't completely unreasonable, I was discussing something similar last night, although I would've put a limit on 1 player per club (each to their own)

I'll add to that - if you've been found guilty on one of the 13+ reports that's resulted in the club ban, then no transfer for you.

Dont hate anyone , just get angry that the league will make some decisions and then get clubs to make others.

BTW you don't have to read it, so don't let it make you lose sleep

If it's written in a forum that interests me, I will read it and ask questions, but you're right, I wont lose any sleep over it.

As you pointed out last night though, it's only the northern clubs these guys would move to - how many clubs in that area? 50-60 players across what 20 clubs? One player per club is a little limiting IMO.

Happy to add the guilty record to my proposal, I like that one. :)

It was a theory more than anything, C graders aren't likely to train, let alone drive any further than 20 minutes to do it

Cant find the 2013 tribunal history but using your guilty record proposal only current players not eligible for internal transfers would be Matt Sharpe, Scott Behrens and Alex Stengle. The remainder of the current playing group from the 3 teams would be free to transfer.

For the record Sharpe and Behrens both received 1 game suspensions for misconduct.

Well think we could overlook the misconduct suspensions then given they're not "serious" in nature. 8)

They have always played amateur soccer and wanted to give football a crack. They had no idea such rules even existed etc. They were hardly engaged in the club other than 2 hours on a Saturday so certainly didn't have knowledge of the history of the club. it wasn't made mention to them by the club before they signed that 'beware we are an AAA club etc'

I cannot believe any player at SN was not aware of the AAA. Having lived through a couple of years on an AAA I can say that every player wishing to join our club was closely scrutinised (record looked up and questions asked) and was advised by the Senior Coach and Chairman of the sanctions on the club. Before every game...A, B and C grade.....the players were reminded of their responsibilities and were told in no uncertain terms that if they did anything wrong they would have to answer to 70 odd blokes the following week face to face. Any yellow cards were given internal suspensions.

We got through a very tough period but from the chairman to the water boy, every person knew what we were dealing with and they had to adhere to the rules. It would have only taken one brain snap and all that good work would have been for nought. You can only do so much, then it’s up to the individual. I feel for SN and more so, I feel for the players that were doing their best to do the right thing.

Please note if people are referring to my post that the players I spoke to and am good friends with said they didn’t know BEFORE they signed. I posted that in response to someone saying the players knew the risks of playing at SN which I disagree with.

Once the players signed and were involved in the week to week playing involvement they definitely were spoken to about the sanctions and the club were making a conscious effort to remind players.

In saying that one of the players they had in their C Grade (who did behave very well by all reports) is very renowned in the northern burbs for being short tempered, potentially aggressive and definitely a high risk to a club on AAA. So I will definitely question how much intel and how reliable their sources were.

You have been completely wrong on more than one occasion when debating this topic. I’d love to be a fly on the wall and see you personally call JK and explain your stance and let him explain to you his side. With your commentary on this it would be better directed to someone where it could make an impact rather than an annonymous shit poster. I don’t mind people having a passionate opinion. But put a name and face to it.

Never thought I would see this in print but I have just read an article in the Advertiser online edition and it is a quote from JK as to the reason Alex Stengle had his appeal upheld and went from 8 games back to 5 as his playing record was such it didn't deserve the 8 game suspension.

The quote states " the original tribunal determined they did not factor in his player record"

Who said the tribunal members never make mistakes? That must have hurt having to admit they wronged!

Had there not been an appeal this mistake would have never been mentioned and Alex would have been robbed of the chance to play on at Salis North next year. Is this considered acceptable?

Sounds like the system worked perfectly.
